Review and Advice

Hi there,
Please review my shop and tell me how i can further improve the quality of the photographs, Also i'am facing a rather daunting task of taking photographs of my new bed covers, and curtains...I want the light box effect but i'am failing at it and most likely due to lack of Proper lighting equipment.

I'am ready to turn one of my rooms into a DIY studio just to take photographs of them..As my budget is not very high please give a DIY idea which i can do my self.

This will really help me launch my products possibly before the Black Friday sales.

Thank you.

Re: Review and Advice

I think your pictures look pretty good! For a light diffuser/light box effect you can always hold up an old, white sheet in front of the light. You can also use tin foil, white, gold or silver tag board as a light reflector. Or, I just bought these off Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003Y2KC7W/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which work really well. The ones I ordered are pretty big (I use them for people) but they do make smaller ones. I'm not getting paid to promote those off Amazon or anything, I have just been happy with the product.

The timer is usually a button on the camera or in the Menu settings and the icon is usually a little clock. If you have the manual still that should walk you through where to find it. If you don't have the manual, I found the user's guide for your camera online:

Hopefully that will help

As for tripods, you could order one on Amazon; they have all sorts. Tabletop tripods are easy to use and work well for product photography. They range in prices too, so you could easily find one for a decent price. Most cameras have a hole on the bottom of it where you would screw in the tripod.
