What paint is best?

When painting shoes, I normally use regular acrylic paint. I spray and acrylic sealer on the shoes to keep the paint from chipping and cracking, but I was wondering if there is a better paint to use? One that is maybe more equipped for shoes but still has vibrant colors? Thanks guys x)

I think fabric or textile paint is best, on fabric shoes. I am still on the hunt for a good paint to use on leather- nothing I have used so far has lasted.

Catherine, Angelus is the best leather paint you can buy. As far as ive found anyway. Be sure to apply acetone to the leather you want to paint before you paint it, otherwise the paint will NOT adhere as well as its designed to.

What i have really liked for quality and vibrancy is taking acrylic paint and mixing it with textile medium. My favorite is the Martha Stewart fabric medium because you don't have to heat set it.

I second the Angelus. It seems to last the longest and have the best coverage.
