Hey everyone! I primarily sell cross stitch patterns on my shop. I'm a graphic designer so I have access to programs like InDesign and Illustrator. Right now, this is where I create my patterns, and I'm finding that it's probably not the best way. As it stands, I hand draw every single square of my pattern, which takes a lot of time. That part I actually don't hate, but I'm having a lot of trouble with creating symbol charts to sell with my patterns. I know a lot of people want that when they make a purchase, but the way I'm doing it now it requires copy and pasting hundreds or thousands of tiny symbols, and the software usually freezes up and don't even let me finish. For anyone out there who sells CS patterns, do you use some kind of software that generates a symbol pattern from the design you create?
