Re: Chat Thread

Hope everyone is well!  Ugh, I'm tired of this year (as I'm sure everyone else is)!

Debra, thanks for the excitement  for the gnome scarf!  I have an instagram account but have no idea of how to use it.  Is Alexa feeling better?  Where my daughter works had an outbreak of covid and I had a few tense weeks worried that my daughter would catch covid.  She was tested every few days and came back negative each time.  Now my niece has been exposed and she has been around my Dad which is worrisome.  I can't imagine 15,000 new cases a day.  Our county has a population less than 80,000 and 10 new cases a day is scary.

Mary Alice, are you taking any of the pets with you when you move?  If I had it my way I would have a couple more dogs and maybe a cat or two.  Don has less tolerance (he also is allergic) to how many dogs we have.  Wishing you the very best with the new house!

Lucille, I loved the blanket you have with the ribbon border.  Annie's is showing a new trend with crochet with woven colors for the body of the item.  So far I've seen a blanket and shawl.

I hope everyone is well.  We are doing our part, staying at home and trying not to drive each other nutty!

Hi Ladies ~

Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy.

Lisa ~ Has your niece received her results yet? How's your dad doing?  Such a scary time.  My son, in Florida, along with everyone in his office had to leave and now work from home.  Someone in his office tested positive for covid and within 5 minutes of receiving the call from the health dept the whole office was cleared out.  My son will be tested this week though thank goodness so far he has no symptoms.   Cases are still climbing here in Florida.  The only thing we can do is wear a mask when around others, wash our hands and stay in as much as possible.

My daughter was in her car, stopped for an emergency light signal in front of the fire station, when a tractor trailer hit her car.  The truck driver didn't see that there were cars stopped and couldn't stop in time.  The truck driver drove in between the lanes of stopped cars and hit my daughter's drivers side and the passenger side of the car next to her.  It's a miracle that no one was hurt.  Her car is a mess but that can be fixed.  Shook my poor daughter to pieces but thank goodness she didn't have any physical injuries.  I believe her daddy was watching out for her.

I bought myself an ellipitcal trainer.  My brother-in-law put it together for me yesterday and I was able to do about 5 minutes before my muscles were burning.  Unfortunately, that's how out of shape I am.  I haven't taken a walk in months. I have no interest to walk around my boring neighborhood and now it's too hot.  So, I hope to build up some strength and get in a 30 minute work out.

MaryAlice ~ Thanks for the compliment on the bees.  I sold three so far, one to a friend and two to the same customer, so they aren't taking off but sometimes it takes awhile.

So excited for you to move and start your next adventure.  You must be excited having this change to look forward to.  How are your grandkids doing?

Sounds like you have some fun projects going.  I found a really cute pattern for a unicorn hand puppet that I will try and make for Violet.  I don't seem to have a lot of concentration lately so little projects are good.  I had seen a pattern for a gorgeous oversized sweater but can't remember where I saw it!  My mind is ceasing to work properly.

I hope everyone has a good week and only good news.

Re: Chat Thread

Hi everyone, been keeping myself busy with the garden and crocheting.  I don't stay in the garden too long, it has been extremely hot and humid here.

I posted a few new things on this site I'm hoping they do okay.

Lisa thanks for the compliment on the blanket, I enjoy making that one.

Funny asking about pets oh, I've been thinking of getting the kitten. Cosmo's been gone for two years now.  I love dogs but for me I don't have the space for them to run or the ability to walk them. I've been thinking of purchasing a Siberian kitten believe it or not are hypoallergenic, you would never know to look at them.

Mary Alice thank you for visiting my site and favoriting my things. You must be getting excited, you have a lot to do starting on a new adventure

Debra sorry to hear about your daughter I bet you were as scared as she was.

There's been an upsurge here  when they opened up a few restaurants here and closed them just as fast.  I worry about our kids and grandkids and this horrible time.

Well if I forgot anything I'm sorry I'm just a little beat. I'll be in touch soon

Hi Lucille ~

I had also been researching Siberians since so many people who come to my home have allergies to cats.  My daughter has a ragdoll and my husband was allergic to cats but the ragdoll didn't seem to be a problem for him.  Ragdolls look alot like siberians, very large and fluffy.  Let me know what you find out.

The surge in covid is so scary.  We have been advised to not go out unless necessary.  It started back up again when they opened the bars.  Big mistake.

Just a drive by hello. Talk more later..

Debra I've also considered ragamuffins.  I'm just having a hard time finding breeders or seller's me. They're too far to travel right now. I did find one in Norfolk  where my children are but unfortunately those are not available till next summer. Who thought it would be this hard

Hi Lucille ~

It's hard to believe that getting a specific cat breed can be difficult but the struggle is real!  It took me a while to find a ragdoll for my daughter that wasn't overly expensive.  The breed was recommended to me by a friend in the UK who has two.  My daughter's cat is gorgeous, the prettiest cat I have ever seen with creamy ivory to shades of gray fur and bright blue eyes.  Here is a link to the breeder in Florida.  I believe she ships, she drove the kitten down to us, and she has two litters expected this summer.  https://www.tamcatz.com/home     I don't thing they are perfect for people with allergies but not as bad as some other breeds.   Siberians are supposed to be the best for allergic people.

Good Afternoon everyone

How is everyone?  It's been quiet here.  Hope everyone is well.  I'm busy with different things.  Health wise I'm good as is everyone else.  I can't believe it's August already.  8 months into the year.  How time has flown.  Hopefully things will get back to normal again.  This week I'll be busy with our new house.  Just finished up the mold removal so we can go into the house. My son in law is busy doing yarn work for us. Had a lot of high weeds in the back and front.  Keep sane with crocheting.  Keeping busy with the puppy and Olivia, though she's not as bad as the puppy.  LOL. Besides that I don't think much has changed since I've last written.  I'll end here.  Hope to hear from you all soon.

Re: Chat Thread

Hi Ladies ~

MaryAlice ~ So excited for you now that you are beginning work on your new home.  I'm sure you're also excited to start this new phase of your life.

Things here have been quiet but ok.  We had the threat of the hurricane that was downgraded to a tropical storm when it came close to Florida.  We had nothing, not even a strong wind, so I am thankful for that.  My son who lives on the beach in Melbourne had nothing as well.  The news crews were all in his area waiting for landfall but thank goodness the storm stayed off shore.  I know the mid-atlantic states got hard hit.

Mary Alice - Did you have the storm up your way?

I brought my mom to my house on Saturday because she was afraind her power would go out but all was good.  We had a nice time and it was actually good to have some company.

Besides that, not much going on.  Last week I met with some friends in a parking lot, we all brought beach chairs and sat 6 feet apart and did some catching up.  I know everyone is just hoping for some normalicy but looks like it won't happen for a while.

I am going to try and visit my grandkids this weekend. The baby is turning 5 months old tomorrow and the last time I saw him he was 6 days old.  I'm a little nervous to make the trip but my son and his wife have been taking precautions with masks, handwashing and social distancing.   Masks are mandatory in Palm Beach, Broward and Dade counties but unfortunately the rest of the state just won't do it so we still have high covid numbers.

I found a cute little pattern for crochet elephant bookends on Moogly and I think that would be a fun gift for Violet and Nicholas.  I am not a great animarugi maker, the sewing on the parts is always tricky for me, but I thought I would give it a try.

Shop is keeping me moderatly busy which is good because otherwise I would be pulling my hair out with boredom.

Today I have a hurricane shutter company coming out to give me an estimate.  On the sides of my house and along the back I have accordian shutters, you just pull them closed but on the front I have metal ones that I need help putting up. I  don't like asking anyone for help so having all accordian will be better for me.  And that's my excitement for the day!

I hope everyone is doing well.

Lucille ~ I hope you weathered the hurricane without any damage.

Take care ladies!

Hello just checking in. I'm sorry I haven't been writing. My brother is in and out of the hospital and it's been keeping me on an emotional roller coaster. He has been suffering with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma for some time now and had a bone marrow transplant over  a year. We expected him to start recovering and just as he seems to improve something else happens. It's been extremely trying time. I've been going through the motions around here and crocheting some just to keep busy. He is had so much tragedy already in his life but this can really test your faith. Hopefully I'll be in touch soon with good news.

Re: Chat Thread

Lucille ~ So sorry to hear the issues your brother is having with his health.  Sending him healing prayers.  Crocheting can really come in handy with reliefing some stress.   Sending you hugs.

Things here are ok.  Last weekend I finally visited my son, dil and the grandkids.  I was so happy to see everyone and get in some good grandma hugs and kisses.  My grandson is 5 months old, the last time I saw him he was 6 days old.  He's quite big at just about 18 lbs.  Violet is still a little peanut.  Did me good to see them.

I've been working on some new teething ring styles for my shop.  I got a message from Etsy to up my daily ad budget in order to get more views.  I had been doing just fine with my budget, getting views and sales.  Since I got the message my views have gone down to maybe 1/4 of what they were and sales are very sporatic if at all.  I don't know if Etsy is manipulating my views so I will raise my budget.  It just seems very coincidental that everything was fine and then nothing for almost a week.

I was thinking of all the tv shows and series I have watched since March.  I started and finished all of the Grace and Frankie seasons, The Tiger King, Virgin River,  Northern Rescue and I'm on season 3 of The Chi.  That's a lot of TV!!!

Have a good week ladies, hope everyone is well.

Lucille, sending prayers your way for your brother.  I hope you get good news soon!

Debra, I am running out of series to watch!  A new season of Yellowstone started a few weeks ago and that is my highlight each Sunday!  I'm happy you got to see the grandkids!  I miss the girls and have not seen them in a few weeks.  My dil is great and sends pictures but it is not the same as grabbing and hugging them.  How is your Mom?  Dad's doing as well as he can and I am so thankful for my sister and nephew that live with him and take care of his everyday needs.

Mary Alice, how is the house coming along?

I just wanted to check in with everyone.  I've been busy with crochet.  I got the book finished and then saw the pocket shawl craze and designed some pocket scarves that are being published next week.  I designed a unicorn pocket scarf for my granddaughters and the pattern will be published tomorrow through Annie's.

Wishing everyone well and will chat more soon

Hi Ladies ~

Hope everyone is doing well.

Lucille ~ I hope your brother is doing well.  Sending you good thoughts.

Lisa ~ It was great to see the grandkids.  I will most likely be going again this weekend.  Nothing going on here so why not.  Glad to hear that you are getting some much needed help with your dad.  I'm fortunate that I have my brother and sister here so we can deal with my mom.  She's been a bit difficult this week.  Still blaming stuff on my dad and upset that we take his side.  It's just too much to even go into but it's not easy.

Congrats on yet another published pattern.  I'm going to check out the pattern for the unicorn since Violet now into them.

My cousin turned me on to the netflix series The Ranch with Sam Elliot.  It's ok, not quite my thing but it has Debra Wanger in it I like her.

Mary Alice ~ Hope you house is coming along and the move goes smoothly.

I had an instagram conversation with Melissa from Crafty Kitty.  She is doing well and has some adorable patterns that she features on her feed.  She said to say hi to the group and hopes to stop by soon.

Lauren~ Hope you are doing well.

Take ladies and stay well!!

Re: Chat Thread

Good Evening everyone.

Debra:  Glad you got to see your grand kids.  I know you were excited to see them, and they were super excited to see you also. That was great that you got to chat with Melissa.  Also glad she's doing well also.

Lisa: Hope you're doing well.  Guess your busy busy with your shop.  Hope you're making a whole bunch of sales. I still haven't purchased the book with the gnome scarf but will someday.  House is keeping me busy as usual, getting all new windows, but will have to wait for about 4 weeks.

Will keep you all posted on what's going on.  Slow but sure. Hope everyone is safe from those horrible storms that are going on.  It rained here yesterday some areas had down trees and power lines but we did ok.  Suppose to get more rain tomorrow with thunderstorms.  This summer has been rather rainy, but all in all can't complain.

Busy crocheting a halloween afghan.  I've had the pattern for years, so decided by the time this halloween comes around I'll make one.  There are so many great patterns I have.  Wish I had 8 arms and legs.  My granddaughter will be doing on line learning  again.  They aren't going to open the schools.  I think they will wait until after the election.  The covid-19 is not to bad here.  People wear their masks and practice social distancing.  But I can't wait until this crap is over.

There's really not much else to say for now.  So, have a great evening and will talk again soon.

Re: Chat Thread

Hi Ladies ~

Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy.

Mary Alice ~ Your house must be shaping up.  I am sure you are very excited.  Can't wait to hear all the details.

Storms have been wicked up your way.  Stay safe.  I just ordered accordian hurricane shutters for the front part of my house.  I have them on the side and back and then Neal and I would put up steel ones in the front.  I can't do it myself and I don't want to be dependent on anyone helping me so I ordered them.  It takes two seconds to close up the windows with the accordian shutters so the whole house is done very quickly.  I'm hoping we have a very mild hurricane season but it's very hot and the water temps are high so not good signs.

Sounds like you are busy crocheting some fun things.  I've been doing my shop stuff but also made a cute little stuff mouse for Violet. I had made her a least 10 little stuffed bees that she loves but thought I would branch out to mice.  I have been to see my kids twice and will try and go again this weekend.  It really did me good!  Those of you that have your grandkids in town are blessed!  My sister and brother-in-law haven't seen their granddaughter since December and she just turned 1 this week.  The baby and her parents are in NYC.  All three of them had covid and were really sick but thank goodness they are ok.  I have friends who haven't seen their families since February so it's quite sad.

They aren't opening the schools here for another month and then with the option to home school or go back to brick and mortar.   It's too dangerous since all of south Florida is a hot zone for covid.   An older woman in my son's office got sick after attending a mask free party and the office closed for 2 weeks.  Unfortunately not wearing or wearing a mask has become political statement.  November can't come soon enough.

I had a flu shot earlier this week and got really ill with fever, chills, nausea and just wanted to sleep for 2 days.  The injection site was swollen and rashed and it kept getting bigger and so hot to the touch plus painful.  I was a little freaked out since I haven't had that happen since I was in my 20's and took my first flu shot.  Today I feel fine so I'm happy about that.

I binged watched Next in Fashion on netflix.  So good!!  It's an upscale Project Runway type of show but these are really good designers and the fabrics and finishings are beautiful.  If you have netflix give it a try.  I watched the whole season in 2 days.

Take care and be well.  Have a good start to the week.

Re: Chat Thread

Hi Ladies~

Just a quick check in to see if everyone is doing ok.

MaryAlice ~ Have you moved to your new home?  So excited to hear how the renovations are going.

Things here are ok.  I dined outsite with my brother and sister the other day.  There is a park behind my house that has a little restaurant and the best views of a lake.  We use to love going there for drinks and small bites, so, we ventured over there.  I don't feel all covid prevention methods were being adhered to so that will probably be the last time we eat there till we get the all clear.  The straws had no paper on them so we know they were touched, they used real silverware instead of the recommended plastic and I saw the cook walking around without a mask.  I'm fine eating at home or getting fast food takeout when the Taco Bell mood strikes me.

I had a real scare yesterday with Jimmy.  He had bloat, a condition where too much air gets in the stomach causing it to twist on its self.  It's life threatening and he had a 50/50 chance of survival.  He had emergency surgery and is ok.  No organs were caught up in the twist of his stomach and his heart doesn't seem to have been affected by lack of blood flow.  I'll be going to see him at the animal hospital later today and hopefully he will come home tomorrow.

I was supposed to go up to see the kids today but that probably wouldn't of happened anyway since we are having a tropical storm and it's windy and rainy, not my favorite driving conditions.

My mom has been behaving herself so that stress for now has been lessened.  But we are always on high alert which in it's self is stressful.  Vicious circle.

Take care ladies and stay healthy and safe!!!

Re: Chat Thread

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone is healthy and coping with the new normal.  I've been busy with patterns and keeping myself occupied making Christmas gifts.  Sales have been slow the last month on our website and I am enjoying having extra time to make some of the Christmas gifts this year.   My kids are at the age where they are successful in their careers and impossible to shop for as they need nothing!

Debra, oh no, poor Jimmy!  Wow, I didn't realize that standard poodles could have that happen.  I know it can be fairly common in older retrievers.  Poor baby, I hope he recovers well!  I'm glad your Mom is behaving, my Dad is doing well now that my sister has taken over his household.  A huge relief for me.  We have only ordered out twice since February.  1 takeout pizza and 1 takeout burgers.  The restaurants in our area just opened at 25% capacity but I don't want to risk going out, yet.

Mary Alice, how are you?  Have you been able to move in?

Well, just a quickie this morning, but I wish everyone a great weekend!  Don and I are well, just keeping busy where we can.

Re: Chat Thread

Hi Ladies ~

Hope everyone is well during these so not normal times.

Lisa~ The scarf you posted on instagram is gorgeous!!  I love the fall colors.

Not much I can make for my kids but Violet loves her little mice and bees that I crochet for her.  Made Nicholas a tiny Christmas stocking.  I bought a beautiful gold iron on letter applique from a shop on Etsy for the stocking.  I was having a hard time perfecting the N with embroidery.

Jimmy is doing much better.  Had I not known what bloat was I would have probably waited to see if the situation would right itself.  It took the dr. 8 hours to stablize him enough to do surgery even though I got him to the vet fairly quick.  It is usually more common in deep chested dogs but the dr. thinks that Jimmy might have been in pain for a pancreatitis  flare up and the pain was causing him to pant and he got to much air in his stomach.  Scar goes from his chest to his groin so it was pretty major surgery, without it he would have died.

Not much going on. Haven't done much all week except work on a few orders, it's way slower this month, and take my mom to her physical therapy appointments every other day.

Have a good weekend ladies!!

Re: Chat Thread

I hope everyone is well and keeping busy with fun things.

I decided to make my dil a blanket for Christmas and completely forgot how time consuming large projects are!  She is striving to be a master gardener and has the most amazing flower gardens, so I decided to make the African flower motifs and then square them.  The blanket is going to be pretty and I am happy I started several months before the Holiday.

Debra, your little bees and mice are adorable!  I'm sure Violet will love them!  My granddaughters are always adopting my projects.  I rarely unravel items I don't like and the girls like to play with them.  I saw the toys and stocking on Instagram, very nice!!

Thank you for the compliment on the fall scarf.  I think it is wishful thinking as the weather here is still hot.  Way warmer than usual.

I am slowly stumbling my way around instagram and facebook and pinterest.  I really don't understand social media but I'll keep trying anyway.  I do have a cousin-in-law that is a marketing expert and I may hire her for some help.

I'm glad that Jimmy is doing better!  Very scary, and I hope he continues to do well.  This year has been hard on my extended fur-family.  We've lost 3 dogs and 1 horse.  The only upside is the kids have adopted a total of 4 more dogs and 1 horse.

My website has been slower the last few weeks, but it has given me more time to work on more patterns.  Annie's has asked me to contribute some more designs that will be used next year in different magazines.  I will be listing a few more patterns on etsy also.

Mary Alice and everyone else, I hope you are well and staying safe!

How do I post something here without having to hit the reply button? I'm setting my shop back up for my final season and i'm not enjoying it at all. I haven't decided yet to offer all my items with free shipping, just the over $35 purchases. I figure that gives me room to put some on sale occasionally.

Lisa, I hope your website really takes off. This Etsy can be frustrating. If I were to continue, I'd do the same. But it's time for me to "get a life" again. I'll be 70 soon and want to explore. I'll be selling my small trailer and my new partner will be buying a sailing catamaran (soon I hope). We have plans to sail the Caribbean after the ports open up again. 2021 we'll  probably just sail to Maine area for the summer and maybe Puerto Rico the beginning of the year.

Good to be back to the team again,

Sandy

Re: Chat Thread

Hi Everyone!

Sandy: Good to hear from you. I typed a whole 3 paragraphs last week, and when I went to hit reply, it said something about not being able to process. I was mad, and then said the hell with it.  I'm hoping I don't have that same trouble again.

Lisa: I should try instagram maybe I'll get some sales.  With the house and all I've been super busy.  Still haven't moved in yet.  Hopefully by the end of October. Next weekend I have a wedding to go to.  My cousin's youngest daughter is getting married.  It will be outdoors.  I just hope the weather cooperates and it's not raining or too cold.  It's from 5PM till 10PM.

Debra:  Hope all is good with you. How's your Mom doing. Besides being busy with the house there isn't very much going on.  Oh, well have to tell you.  I had to get hearing aids.  Bob and I got them both.   I knew my hearing was bad but never wanted to admit it.  Now that I have them it's great.  I hear things I haven't heard in around 15 years.  They are super small, and no one can tell you have them.  It's great getting old, right?  NO!!

Well, I don't want to type a whole bunch and then have the reply button tell me they can't process it, so I'll end here.  Hope you all are doing well, stay safe.

Re: Chat Thread

Wow, crazy day here.  Don had increasing dizzy spells this morning and I called an ambulance to take him to the VA hospital.  He is doing okay but being kept overnight so they can run more tests.  Fricken covid sucks, as I could not be with him, thankfully the Dr's and nurses have been letting him call and keeping me informed.  Hopefully he gets released tomorrow.  The Dr's aren't sure if he is having worsening heart issues or breathing issues.  I sat down earlier (after pacing) and realized I had 3 cups of coffee, next to my yarn project!

Sandy, so good to see you!  Wishing you a great season!  Omg, no idea how to reply on chat, it seems to change constantly!  I just type and then hope it goes through.  How exciting for you and your future adventures!  Sailing sounds so romantic to me, but I am afraid of open water and pass up every chance to get on a boat.

Mary Alice, lol to getting older.  Ugh, a good morning is waking up feeling like I have not pulled some muscle out of whack while sleeping!  I am enjoying instagram over the other social platforms, I could lose hours just scrolling so many things I am interested in!  Send me a friend link for facebook, please!

Debra, I hope you are well and Jimmy is recovering well!  How is Scarlett?  How is your Mom doing?

My daughter was driving in Albuquerque last week, near the freeway entrance on a busy road and saw a kitten get hit by a car, so she pulled over and rescued the unconscious kitten and rushed it to her vet.  Later that day the veterinarian called to tell her her kitten was ready to go home!  Lol, my daughter like hesitated and replied she would pay the bill, but the kitten was not hers.  The vet repeated "Your kitten is ready to be picked up".  Sooo, my daughter now has a kitten!

I hope everyone has a good weekend and will chat more soon!

Re: Chat Thread

Hi ladies~

Like MaryAlice I am afraid to type too much because everytime I hit reply I get an error message!!  Usually I will copy what I have written and then paste and hope it goes through.

Lisa ~ I am so glad Don is feeling better.  Getting meds regulated and updated is so important but it's usually because of an incident that we have them updated.   My daughter was having random sharp pains all over her body.  It turns out the low dose antibiotic she has been taking for about 6 months, for chronic UTI, was having an adverse affect on her.  The doctor immediately took her of the meds.

I so enjoy seeing you on Instagram!!  Your work is so great.  I'm like you, I can get on instagram and get lost.  I start clicking links and that leads to something else and before I know it an hour has passed.  I've come across some great companies and really cool ideas on instagram.

Your daughter has an interesting story on how she got her kitten!  Glad it was ok and she got to take it home.  How do you pass up on a kitten?

Sandy~ Good to hear from you.  Sounds like you have some exciting plans coming up.  To travel up to Maine by boat sounds wonderful!  One of the best cruises my husband and I took was to Canada and Maine.  I love that area.  I understand how you feel about Etsy.  I woke up with a start today because I had orders to box up.  I thought to myself, why am I doing this?  But then again, I think what would I be doing in covid times without my shop?  Maybe when this is all over and we are semi-normal I will rethink the whole situation, right now it's giving me purpose.

MaryAlice~ I'm sure you are so excited about your new house. Can't wait to hear how the move went!!  How are you grandkids doing?  Will your move be hard on Olivia?

I was talking with some friends the other day and we were all saying how we think we are losing our hearing.  I find I am having difficulty hearing, especially women.  Deafness runs in my family as we get older so I need to get tested.  Crap!!  My brother had given me some cheap hearing aids he bought but they were so annoying.  Glad you are enjoying your hearing aids.  Must be nice to suddenly hear things clearly.

Jimmy is doing well and gets his stitches out tomorrow.  He was running around the backyard tonight with Scarlett and barking away so I think he is going to be fine.

My mom has been suffering with her neck and back and we have been taking her to therapy and dr.  Today they prescribed some new meds so I hope she will get some relief.  She's been on and off with her delusions and went off on my brother the other day but for the most part she's been ok. It's really nerve wracking for us since we are always waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Lisa ~ How's your dad doing?

I hope everyone stays well.  They've gone to phase 3 here in Florida but I don't know anyone who is willing to go to restaurants or bars for indoor dining.

Take care ladies.

Re: Chat Thread

Hi Everyone.  Hope you are all ok.  I'm doing well, still busy with the house, but it looks like we will be able to move in around Thanksgiving.  Just waiting for the new windows and floor tiles as well as flooring.

Lisa: Hope your doing well as well as your family. Received the book and love the gnome scarf.  The book as a lot of great patterns in it.  Right now I'm working on a c2c blanket with a plaid edging.  I ran out of the grey yarn and no one seems to have any.  So, i will have to wait for that to come in.  Plus I have a buffalo plaid scarf I'm working on and a halloween blanket.  I get bored if it's a big project, but I eventually finish.  Lisa, did you get the pic of Circe I sent to you on messenger?

Debra:  Hope all is well with you and your mom. Weather here is rainy and damp.  The colors of autumn are upon us and it's gorgeous up here.  How is your grandchildren, son and daughter, also Jimmy.?

My daughters dog Circe is doing good, shes such a puppy.  She loves to be chased and plays tug of war with anything.  She talks like chewbaca.  It's so funny.

Hopefully when I hit reply this will go.  So, I won't type too much this time.  Again, hope all is well with everyone.

Re: Chat Thread

Hope everyone is well!

Mary Alice, I did get the pic of your Circe pup.  She is a beautiful red color!  I'm so inept with my cell phone I could not figure out how to respond. I've been posting to instagram through my pc, but haven't figured out all of the other ways to post on there.  Instagram is fun, there are so many gorgeous things to look at!

Just a quickie and I hope everyone is staying safe and keeping busy
