Hi there Daily Etsy Sellers!

Browsing through the members list of our team and looking at all your lovely shops, I started noticing we are a very diverse group of shop owners. Some of us have been on Etsy for years, others are just starting off and have yet to make their first sale.

Let's start a discussion on making that first sale. We all know it's that one magical moment, just that one sale, we're all eagerly waiting for when just starting out on Etsy.

My first sale was last night after about 7days here on Etsy. I decided to use the $1.00 a day promotion to get my store in front of people . Not sure if that is how the sale occurred. I have also followed people in one of the teams I am a member of so maybe that is how it happened?

I have a couple of first sales lol

My first in person sale was my daughters best friend. She was one of my testers and loved it so much she bought something when I launched my shop.

My first website sale was my sister who I love for supporting my dream!

My first Etsy sales were from a sales ladder (just to break that 0 sales barrier) and her and I talked a lot in messages and she's super nice and could be a great friend. :)

Well,I uploaded a bunch of different stuff,macrame,soutache,metal,beaded embroidery, in general my shop was a mess! And in this mess I had a spinner ring. My shop has some views and favorites but nothing special. Then all of a sudden I see in my e-mail a congratulation mail about my first order. I was so excited!!! I still don't know who or we this woman said "No sales?Perfect!" and trusted me but I'm really happy that happened :)

I used to sell stuff in person to friends/coworkers, so after a couple weeks of no sales here I steered a couple people to our Etsy store. Once we got the first couple the dam broke and sales started to come in.
