I thought a chat thread would be good for sharing just about everything as well as having a good old chit chat while we do so =)

At the moment I am eating cheese and crackers and then I plan to research the restrictions that were on women in the eighteenth century. I have an assignment due next Friday based on the visible and invisible walls in womens lives.

I am never caught-up with anything - my brain is always faster than my fingers and actions - and summertime with the garden is the worse.

I feature shops on my blog sometimes too. For the month of April, I featured buyers from our shop who also had a shop of their own.

One of my New Year's resolutions this year is to shop from an Etsy shop on the first Friday of every month this year. I then feature that shop on my blog once my package arrives.

Hi everyone. I'm quite excited because this weekend is the first one that my stuff will feature and be sold in a National Trust Gallery in Cornwall ^.^ I'm hoping that they'll do well there but just have to wait and see.

But Congrats on the job! Lol.

We're moving out next weekend. On Thursday the paper work should be all done so we can go from there. It feels weird that its happening its been a goal for so long.

Luna - am sure she'll make the lip balm for you - is difficult with a job to do Etsy - by the way discovered something - if I mail from the USA to the UK and anything costs over 16 pounds than their is a customes surcharge at your end - interesting - huh?

Morning all,

Just popping by as I've neglected Etsy for a while due to holiday, then being snowed under with work since I've been back (not complaining as it pays the bills!) and problems with my diabetes but trying to steal a few mins here and there to say hi :)

Well done on the new job Carrie!

Good luck with the move Luna - I know the feeling, we were stuck in London for 3 years desperately trying to get back up north so when we finally bought our house at Christmas it felt long overdue ;) Well done on your uni results!!!

Vallee - I have been caught out with customs charges - I bought 2 custom stamps and with postage it was about £16 and I got charge £12.50 in customs charges which meant it wasn't worth buying the stamps!! I was more annoyed that only about £4.50 was customs and the rest was an admin fee :(

Right, off to get some drawings packs done now - have a good day

Trying a trick to see if I can not have the extra custom charges - as long as the iten is under 16 pounds moniterality then my friend wasn't being charged - just sent her something and we'll see 0 so far only in the UK have I had this issue, Sorry but boy is the queen proud! I pray we don't do that here - customes is interesting - everything goes through Homeland Security now
