Hello Crafters

Introduce yourselves!

I'm Maddy (Maddison Langford) and I own MaddyMoosDesigns Etsy store, producing items from different craft types such as knitting, jewellery, crochet, polymer clay, digital printing, cross stitch and much much more.

I know there are more people out there who produce many different crafts within one store so I thought it would be nice to meet you all collectively as a group!

I hope we can get some nice topics going, discussing crafts, different items available for each and supplies for out favourite crafts...

Look forward to talking with you all.

Re: Hello Crafters

Hello all,

I think I have tried just about every craft on the market so this team fits me! My latest is jewelry but I'm not sure I can master the eye pins and memory wire.

I love to crochet, make Rosaries (on bonded cord) and Scrapbook.

Looking forward to learning from everyone and sharing.

Re: Hello Crafters

Hello!

I so get this team!! My husband often says it is easier to list what I don't do! I knit, crochet, sew, quilt, inkle weave--and trying to figure out card weaving--rug hook, I do counted cross stitch, embroidery, doll making--rag and porcelain, bobbin lace... lol! And I know there are more things I do too! I am the classic Gemini--always looking for something new! This next year, I am looking at learning punch needle--figure it will go well with the rug hooking.

My dream is to get find a house with a HUGE bonus room that I can use as my craft room, cause now, the house we we are in IS my craft room!! My husband is a saint!! lol

Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Re: Hello Crafters

I thought it was time we had our own place to learn from each other so wala. My god Karen that's a lot of crafts! Look forward to hearing about them! I understand completely as I live in a flat with my son and my crafting fills the living room at both ends, ive even filled what should be an airing cupboard with boxes of fabric and more! That's what I get for choosing fashion as my degree... fabric fabric everywhere!

Annie I am also making jewellery and have just made my first crocheted, beaded wire bracelet which was a learning curve. I too have not mastered memory wire either, not sure how to use it in a. Different way to the norm yet... maybe someday.

Thanks for joining look forward to chatting some more!

Re: Hello Crafters

Pyrography is the art of using a hot stylus (usually a soldering iron type thing) to burn images and lines into wood :)

For instance

Re: Hello Crafters

Hi: It's so nice to see there are other people just as scattered as I am. I'm always checking blogs to see what project I can tackle next. My profession is Decorator, which I really love. My first passion is knitting. I also make custom draperies, sew, cross stitch, embroider, do paint treatments. I love to upcycle other peoples cast offs, I don't think there is any furniture in my home that hasn't been given at least one more life. Space is at a premium as my husband and I downsized 3 years ago from 2,500 sq. ft. to Oh Yeah 850 sq. ft. and no basement or attic storage space. Looking forward to some good discussions.

Re: Hello Crafters

Hey y'all! I'm Kassandra. I'm a stay at home mom to my 3 yo son, and wife to my husband of 4 years. I have some medical issues that cost us some money. I'd love to be able to cover that with my shop and perhaps have some extra money.
I do a variety of crafts, right now I'm focusing more on sewing. I do plan to expand my shop, that's kind of the idea behind the shop name. I didn't want to be to specific.
I'm excited to get to know you all! I also have a blog if any of you are bloggers as well.. www.coffeeandtheirkisses.com . I'm always looking for shops to feature on Wednesdays, so if you're interested use the contact form on my blog.
:o)

Re: Hello Crafters

I am a new seller on her and I love crafting! I started by making hemp jewelry in high school and then started making beaded jewelry, decoupage vases and jars, scrapbook, cards, and I make paper beads. Paper beads are my newest addiction. :) I LOVE making paper beads because there always so different. Here is an example of one of my paper bead necklaces with a matching bracelet. :)
