I'm in the trial stage, but do like the look of craft launch - I've been trying to find some other craft launch sites, but haven't been too successful. I'd like to see what can be done and some of the things others have put together.

Hey Sharon,

We just launched a new feature (we haven't announced it yet) that lets you show a gallery of your sold items. Sellers who have signed up recently just need to go to "Manage Menu" --> "Add a link to" and select "List of all sold-out items."

Since you've been using CraftLaunch for a while now (yay!), you'll need to re-authorize your shop so that we can pull in your sold items. Just click on the "Account" link at the top of the page when you are signed into CraftLaunch and go to "Linked Accounts." Click on "Re-authorize Shop" which will direct you back to Etsy.

Follow the instructions above ("Manage Menu" --> "Add a link to" and select "List of all sold-out items") to add the link to your navigation bar on your site.

I have had a site set up for a while now and I am excited to hear that you have just added a gallery of sold work items. I am wondering if we can also add items that may have sold but not through our etsy shop. I have created a customized page by following your instructions and using Imgur. However, they lay out got a little bit funny so I haven't messed with it since. Thank you for posting some of your other sites what a great sorce for inspiration!! I am excited to revisit mine and change some things up a bit.

Hi April,

I wrote you an email regarding the problems you were having with the gallery page you set up.

Re: adding items sold outside of your Etsy shop, the custom page you set up is still the best solution for that. We will be adding new features soon including the ability to pull in a Tumblr feed, which is something some of our sellers have used to show off items they've sold outside of Etsy. We'll let you know when the new features have launched!

I just tried to add the Sold Items to my craftlaunch site and it doesn't seem to be working. I followed the instructions you provided for a site that was not brand new. Does it take a while for the change to occur? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hey Sharon,

It looks like you reconnected your shop, but you hadn't completed all the steps to add the link to your navigation bar ("Manage Menu" --> "Add a link to" --> "List of all sold-out items"-->"Add"-->"Save Menu"). It is up now!

Technical question regarding how Craftlaunch works with Etsy. When Etsy is down or having occasional problems -- would my Craftlaunch website then have the same outage/problems?

Hi Sharon,

Since we rely on Etsy for item updates and checkout, those functions may be affected when Etsy.com experiences problems. However, Etsy.com and CraftLaunch.com run on complete different servers, so an outage on Etsy won't bring down your CraftLaunch site.
