Views to Sales Conversion - Want to know yours?

Knowing how many views you need to make a sale can really help you to understand your business better and what is required by way of marketing.

For example, if you know that you need 30 views to make 1 sale, this is a high conversion rate and means that you don't need a whole load of traffic to achieve sales. It also means that you clearly have a product people want or need.

If on the other hand, you need 500 views to make 1 sale, this is a low conversion rate. This could mean that there are issues with your shop that need addressing like photography, pricing etc., that you are not selling something people want or need or simply that you have a high end market product.

Knowing this conversion rate can really help you and this is why I am offering to give you this for free. If you want to know what your conversion rate is, just post here and I will let you know in this thread.

Figures will be based on the entire duration your shop has been open.

@MesyBedStudio, yours is not that bad for what you sell. If you want more sales, you'll just have to work a bit harder at driving more traffic to your store. :-)

@MessyBedStudio, there are so many sites out there that you can use for free. Adding your links on forums and websites is great for SEO rankings. the more reference a search engine has, the higher you'll get. :-)

@BERTYandMASHA yours was 1 to 365 (in your diagnostic) but now it is 1 to 359 - so it has gone down which is going in the right direction.

Your views were 22 per day but now it's 23 so that's also going in the right direction. Adding more items would really help your shop. :-)

@blackbirdbag I cannot give you a views to sales ratio because you've had no sales. Once you have achieved a sale or two, I'll be able to tell you.

It's a simple equation, total views divided by total sales.
