Hi! We have a wedding in may in our family. And I am a wedding photographer in this wedding Yeee! So I was looking to buy a long dress what I had in mind, but then I discovered a problem LOL, looks like there is no dress what I like! There is millions of dresses, but there is something wrong with every single dress like: to short, to long, to open, not the right color or material and so on and on... Is this happen to you also or it's just me?

Karen, goth weekend sounds very cool. I did a shoe once called Fatality Fest that was off the chain. There were a bunch of stars there from horror flicks and we got to hang with them.
Hi all, I have been missing in action for about a year, and it was a year I do NOT wish to repeat. I spent March 2014 across Wales, in Carmarthenshire, taking care of my about to be 90 year old father, while my brother was in India. He got to 90, and even more importantly, his birthday party, which he had been planning for about 2 years. We catered for about 100 guests, musicians and raconteurs. A tremendous time was had by all. After that he had no further goals to achieve and the prostate cancer took hold again. He died on 11th May last year. We spent almost every spare moment from there to November up and down the motorways, emptying his house. In August, in the midst of all this hustle and bustle, my husband went to work one Saturday, had a " funny turn", and ended up in the Royal Gwent Hospital. He emerged four weeks later from Cardiff Heath Hospital with a "zip" down his front, and a new heart valve. He's now much improved and back in work on a part time basis, so life is beginning to return to normal. Have had very little time to advertise my shop, just enough to fulfill custom orders. I now have to get back to routine, and get the shop into the public eye again. THANK YOU to whomever highlighted four items for me this morning. A very kind act.
Had a great time at goth weekend, met up with some alternative wedding bloggers, caught up with friends and customers. Most those activities took place in the pub of course :)

So I just got back--Thanks Karen and Rich for getting back to me re items disappearing from my treasuries! I guess that is what it is---when the items expired or got sold from the shops they came from,my treasuries shrank!
Morning Craftori friends! I joined this group when I opened our Etsy shop, but frankly haven't logged on or read any of the Craftori chatter. I had an Etsy shop that sold vintage stuff for 3 years and closed it when my inventory was nearing the end. (sold over 300 items). Now I'm busy making handmade throw pillows, table runners and such. I think I do better making them than selling them, as sales and looks are infrequent. I thought vintage sales were slow, but they were brisk compared to throw pillows! Too much competition with similar wares. I've tried "promotions" on and off, and it does help - anyone have further suggestions?? Also any hints on getting better pictures?
Hello everyone, just thought I would stop in and say hi. It is getting to be hot, hotter than I want considering I work in my garage, but thinks are doing great so I can't complain. I am skipping my showers just to do my pottery, that's love ! and I do love making stuff!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Here in British Columbia the weather was fantastic! The only issue we have with this hot summer weather, is that it has resulted in many wild forest fires, in and around the area. Today, we all woke up to a blanket of haze/ash/smoke. So much so , that the sky was yellow! It was as if you were viewing everything through tinted sunglasses:( No rain in weeks, and none forecasted in the near future...we really need it.

Hey, I just joined this team. I don't know if this is the place to ask, but I tried to join on the website like it said to do, but it never sends the confirm email? Not sure if anyone else is having this issue or what all I should do about it lol.
What do you do, when there is a pinned post saying "follow us on (whatever social media) and we'll follow you back" and then they don't? Do you unfollow them? Do you leave the team. How can you believe anything they say or do?
@LaReveusedesign, we are in transition so patience, glad to have you on our team, if you do treasuries, use #craftnoodleteam in tags, same with twitter, follow twitter #craftnoodle, I think, and use hashtags, #craftnoodleteam too! Welcome, I love all the team members here, our team leader is awesome!
Thanks for the welcome Terry! I think I am following them on twitter, I'll have to check and make sure that it's not just the craftori one since it switched over. I'll definitely start adding the tags in my posts, thanks for letting me know!
Barbara- haha I run into this a lot. My general way of handling it on social media is I leave people on for a week and once that time has passed, if they don't add back I just remove them. It's up to you how you want to handle it though!
Adrienne- there are a lot of great people here that are willing to help out in boosting your shop a bit by sharing favorites, adding you on social media such as twitter, fb, etc. So join in on the threads and this team helps get your business out there and support you if you have any questions.
Stephanie, yes I do run into this a lot too, but the statement was made by the team captain on another thread. It is hard to have confidence in a team, when 1. I have no idea what this team is now all about, 2, team captain doesn't live up to his/her own statements. Don't wish to be harsh or confrontational, but I have had far too many promises from too many teams that don't live up to the hype.
Good Morning, I have been doing a lot of reading on how to promote my shop. It's been 3 years and I still haven't figured it out. I am really confused about hashtags. What brings traffic what doesn't. I also need to shorten my url's and don't know how to do that. I am now home for good so I am trying to improve my shop and add more items but that is in vain if I can't promote well. Any advice will be appreciated. thanks and have a great day, deb
