I have two kids (both girls) who love to help me design my soaps. They actually have come up with some great ideas. My 9 year old helped design Kassidy's Konfetti soap a couple of years ago and my 11 year old just recently designed a complicated Krystal Waters soap. They are developing the EYE!
That's great, Kristi. I'll have to visit your shop and check out those soaps. I bounce stuff off of my two boys all the time. They always have great input.
John, what an awesome shop! I went through and faved! I think it's great to get the kids involved. It helps to give them a sense of what running a business is all about and the importance of budgeting.
I bought the Eureka packages but am still not having much luck getting views what am I doing wrong. I haven't quite figured out how to use stumblupon or socialoomph yet I hope they will help. deb
Just popped in to say hello. I'm from Kenosha, WI, the southeast corner, right along Lake Michigan! I'm just getting started on twitter. I purchased the twitter, stumbleupon and pinterest guides. Looking forward to getting to know you and seeing you on all these other social media platforms!
Hello Everyone, A great idea to have a ' just a chat' thread. I feel like the new start at school reluctant to ask daft questions. I joined Etsy to increase my international sales ( hopefully) I live in a beautiful seaside village on the East coast of Scotland about 30 miles out of Edinburgh. I love to hear of businesses around the world and would love to hear about how easy/ difficult it has been to establish your business in your part of the World.
@Sherri - Welcome to the team! Craftori is great. Be sure to post to the craftori website for added exposure. Welcome...Wishing you much Etsy success. :) Bobbie
Hi, This is great we went through Wyoming two days ago and were in a snow storm now it's snowing in Chicago I guess that's thanks to Global Warming!HaHa
Hi everyone! I am fairly new to this team. I live in the country (which I call the boonies), and I can't imagine living anywhere else. I am inspired daily by the beautiful landscape and a yard full of sweet little creatures. My husband and I planted multiple gardens to attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and other creatures. It feels like I am camping every night. To me, solitude and beauty is my inspiration for creating. However, my mother was my greatest inspiration.
My husband and I call it God's little corner. We have pear trees, apple trees, pecan trees, cherry trees and we have a strawberry patch, grapevines, and this year he is planting blackberries.. He plants a full vegie garden every year and I tend 13 flower gardens in different areas of my yard. It's a lot of work, but we do enjoy being out in the yard with our three dogs and our cat. We start late in March or early April (depending on the weather) to ensure that most of our work is done before it gets too hot.
