I do have to say that on Etsy not so long pieces of text tend to look long because it is displayed on a small strip :)
With empty you mean completely empty or not many items? If it is the first I don't really get it. is it no possible to close the shop once you are not able to work on it for a while?
ok, so in order to keep to the topic of non business related chit-chat;
What did you all do this weekend?
I went out with my boyfriend and some of his colleagues Friday, it was a short evening but much fun. We found a pub in Marseille that sells drinks for reasonable prices, and after that we went for Tunisian food. Other than that I can't say anything non business related about the weekend. oh no, wait; we had pancakes with banana and maple syrup for breakfast this morning. It was delicious!
Hi, I am new to the team, had a quick look at various threads... I have to say that it look very good and I will be back, often. On a personal note, my business is taking most of my time, specially weekends, reading is my way to escape, a nice way to wind down at the end of a long day, which is what I am going to do right now :) Nice meeting you all.
Hi all, I seem to be like a yo-yo these days. I pop in here, then vanish. Same with my shop and creative activities. The sale of our home closes this Thursday so there has been a TON of clearing up to deal with. Once that is done, I really, really hope to get back to work and get stocked up for Christmas shoppers.
Aisha - nice place to live. We spent a week in a tiny village northwest of Narbonne a few years ago and loved it.
I am popping in just to say a quick Hi! My shop has been busy and mid-terms have started so, I have not been able to be here too much....
Are there any other students here? Mature or otherwise?
Dix - I half moved last summer and am now in the process of selling my old place. I am wishing that I had done what you seem to be doing and had cleared things out before....
Maggie - How did the zombie evasion go? I hear that they are actually afraid of baby blankets!
Fabulous to read all this chatting! I'm over the moon you guys are using the forum like this. I don't have an awful lot of time for chatting at the moment but I do come and read when I have a moment. :-)
Popping in to say hi. I on the way home from our lovely motorcycle ride through the northern eastern states and New Brunswick. The weather's been great, and cold today.
Hi All! It sure feels like fall out there. We are going to get few pumpkins to carve this weekends for outside decorations. Hopefully those hungry squirrels will leave them alone till Halloween. Every time I look out, there they are in my garden digging frantically.
Hi, I'm Patricia and I'm from Lisbon, I'm new to the team :)
I have to say that the weather here is still Summer as it's 27ºC outside right now... sorry guys! Lovely weather, can't complain...Autumn still hasn't arrived.
Hello! I'm Jonna I have Siena's Maine Design. I'm new to the Team. Seems like a lively one. :) Looks like fun. I started playing some of the games. There are some great shops!!
It's getting very autumnal here in France too. We've started to have a log fire in the evenings. Yesterday we went chestnut picking and today we're off to find mushrooms. There should be lots but we've just moved and haven't yet discovered the best spot.
Hi! Here in Victoria, Fall is in full swing. The leaves are changing into vibrant reds, oranges & yellows....its beautiful! The air is very crisp too! Its currently 9 degrees and should reach to the mid teens by the afternoon:)
Hi gang, I normally live in South Wales, but have spent the last two weeks in Cornwall. It has been gloriously sunny here, and I have been walking around in tee Shirt tops nearly all the time. Temperatures have been in the teens. I have worn my fleece only once, in Newquay, which is a surfing area, so wind is a prime requirement. it has rained, but only at night, apart from a heavy burst this afternoon, when we were indoors anyway, so no harm done. Tomorrow we travel home, so I'd better go upstairs and pack properly. See you all later - Marlene.
hello everyone, I'm Fiorella, even here in Italy temperatures are high for being late October and apart from a few days of rain the days are very solar, for example, today is a great day out and very nearly afternoon I venture with a nice walk to the sea , since we live near, you say? ...... how cute idea right??
@Leslie, if it's any consolation here was overcast everything and brings rain tomorrow, tomorrow I'm going to tea and I also crochet, maybe I can finish a baby blanket. :)
Hi! Fiorella, for a Swedish October it´s really warm too, although the mornings have been colder. Today I took a walk in the forest, beautiful with multicoloured autumn leaves. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!
Hi Stina, I can assure you that even for an Italian October fn is too warm, the walk in the forest great idea ........... I also wish you and everyone else a happy Sunday!
