I would love to see how everyone's shop looks for craft shows. I know this is a very important thing to consider when starting so I'm working on my set up now. Show me yours if you have a picture.
This is the first one with 1) a double space and 2) that combines my things and my Mom's. I explain it at craft shows as "if it's knit, my Gram did it; fabric, my Mom; paper, that's mine." It's always fun explaining that 3 generations are responsible for what they see before them.
I still have to take pictures of the new setups at my current markets (except for the single table at the Farmboat). Markets are starting for the week tomorrow, so I will do that.
We have three EZ-ups - but it is hot and we are going "light" (supposed to be over 100 possibly again this weekend).. I like the umbrellas - won't do much for the rain.. but then we try to not go out in the rain..
these are on our fb page - they were taken while a blueberry pie eating contest was going on.. It was an ok day in the market.. we are always slow in the summer..
I would show my latest display, which I think was totally awesome (not to mention completely different from everything I've done in the past) but once again I forgot my camera! UUURG!
I forgot my camera at the last show, but I was able to get some pictures with my cell phone. You can see my booth on my bloag and read about my frustrations with the wind that day at http://christinascreation.weebly.com/blog.html
This board includes indoor, outdoor, table and tent setups. I find that while I try to keep a consistent feel & look to my setup, the setup itself is forever evolving.
I've been contemplating a craft fair for a while. I think I'm ready to jump in and give it try. I have looked through all these photos and have gotten some great ideas. Thank you each for sharing.
I was wondering where some of y'all purchased the white grids? Are they metal or plastic?
The grids are metal. Search google for a store fixture place in your area as the grids are very heavy and you don't want to pay to ship it. You can also search "gridwall" and "grid wall" and "store fixtures" under craigslist and you will get both items from dealers / stores and individuals
Jill, that's a great space setup. I especially like the one where the red curtains line the walls of your booth. That vest you are wearing in the photo is great!
Angel, your mockup is cute! Very inviting! I have garnered so many great tips and ideas from this thread, thanks all for your inspiration and generosity!
