Curious how you get the views?

I was curious how people that post a new item could possibly have over 100 views? I am lucky if I have 2 or 3 on some of my items. Is there any way to increase exposure?

You must be doing something right you've had some sales and only been open for a short time. Your jewelry is pretty. I would also like to know what it means to promote bw threads?

Also - if they renew the view count comes with them and I don't think you can tell looking at it what is a renew and what is new, can you?

you can tell what is new and what is a renew by the item number...really difficult to get 100 in a day, unless you hit the front page or an etsy finds, even tweeting doesn't yield that many, so they must be renews...

I ask my team to tweet my new item I get 40 something views in 5 minutes

im not a tweeter so i guess that wont work i can barely keep up with making stuff and emails.

If someone just posted an item and they have more than 100 views, chances are that item that item is not a new listing and it is a Renew listing.
But tweeting, FB, blogging, and chatting it up in forums and teams will also help to boost your exposure. I know, that is A LOT of work...but there really is no way around that.

twitter helps a lot for the views...
but i'm not sure if it can help sales.

twitter definitely does bring in views, especially if you are on lists. It's really easy once you have it set up, you just click on "Share" on your finished listing, click "Twitter", and it will do everything for you, just click "Tweet" and you're done, then come some views :) Good luck :)
