So, recently I obtained a new book, 'The Archaeology of Celtic Art' by D. W. Harding. Every page and paragraph seems to inspire new images that incorporate the ancient designs.
While not knotwork, this is my newest piece, inspired directly from this book and the additional dive into the internet to find out more. What inspires you? Books? Photos? Visits to ancient sites?
I have hundreds of reference photos from travel to Ireland and Britain. I get excited about Celtic art and would love to get other artists motivated.
