Hi! I'm Veronica and I'm loving getting to read about everyone's kitties! I have two, Toulouse (aka Goosey) and Violet. Both are rescues and I simply adore them! 10% of my shop's sales go to rescue, and in March/April, that rescue is Carolina Pet Rescue (whew! Could I use the word "rescue" one more time? OMG! I just did!) CPR is the group I foster for. They take in a wide variety of species: Cats (including FIV+), Dogs, Rodents (they're who I foster! :)), Rabbits, Ferrets, and birds of all kinds. They also do some reptiles, but we've had fewer to take in lately, since a couple of great reptile rescues have started working in the area. It's great to have the support of other rescues like that! Right now I'm fostering gerbils, though I just had the hamster I was fostering adopted a couple of days ago. I'd fostered him for a *year*, so it was exciting to find someone who was a great match for him. I have a couple of gerbils of my own who I adopted from CPR. They were fosters, but I kind of fell in love with them. :) The cats adore them. Of course they're never allowed to be out at the same time, but the kitties like to sit and watch them like television. Oddly enough, the gerbils (Sterling and Archer) are fond of the cats, too. If one of the cats sits on top of the gerbils' cage (all our cages are quite secure for obvious reasons) the gerbils will lightly nibble the cat's toes to make them run around. They seem to find taunting the cats hilarious. I've fostered gerbils for 10+ years and so far, they've all seemed to love teasing the cats. It's a gerbil thing. I also have 2 degus and 2 turtles and one chihuahua--all rescues. The one I've had longest is Walter, a turtle who is nearing 40. My dad rescued him when I was about 5 yrs old. He was a few years old when he was found, drying out in a hotel hallway, so it's an estimate, but 40 should be pretty close to his age, plus or minus a year. Anyway, hello! Hug your kitties for me!
I'm new to etsy, and to this team. Thank you for letting me join!
I am a proud owner of two seven year old kitties. Both are from Boston but have moved with me to Berlin.
Tucker, the American Shorthair (but think she has some Siamese in her due to how vocal she is) was a street cat who found me after my long search for my perfect companion. Dusty, my tortoiseshell cuddly cat, was adopted from the MSPCA.
They are now proud owners of a small adopted dog (Shih-tzu Malteser mix) who has shown her eagerness to become a cat. She can now jump higher and has attempted to purr like them.
Needless to say, I love animals and hope to connect with more people who find the same affection for them.
My etsy store mainly sells catnip cat toys, but have found that our doggie apparently likes to play with them too!
Looking forwards to meeting the rest of the team!!!
Hi everyone, I've been an Etsy seller for awhile now, with another shop PaivatarYarn where I make and sell hand woven and felted items. I have always had cats and the occasional dog as well. Recently I got a new kitten, who absolutely loves all the yarn and wool that I have. So I started making her some toys to keep her occupied. This led me to opening another Etsy shop just for cats and cat lovers. Hope to get to know you all. Best Paivi

Hello! I'm new to teams and I'm still learning how to use etsy even though I'd had a shop since Dec. I just found out how to find the teams I joined to I could post in them after like 3 days.
My name is Sarah and I'm a rescuer. I live on a dead end road out of town and people think it's perfectly fine to throw cats from the cars and abandon them at the end of the road. Most end up in my yard because they smell and sense the other cats here. Others, like kittens, I have found coming out of the woods when I'm on a walk down my road and talking to my cats that are walking with me. I've also saved a few from being shot in garages and barns because awful people think that's an easier and better option than finding them a home or taking them to a cat shelter. I catch the cats that show up here and I take them to get spayed and neutered and checked out (and I litter train them if they're kittens) and then I rehome them. If I can't find a home for them they stay with my family (mom and twin brother) because we have 2 acres of land and the love to give.
We currently have 11 cats, they're my babies. Alice, Snoodz, Wendy, Teddy, Dale, Moe, Frida, Filbert, Fluffy, Peaches, and Tilly. 3 boys and 8 girls because people have a stigma about female cats and pregnancy and spraying, even though they are spayed. It's ok, I love them.
My shop is named The Crafty Neykitten because my cat Neykitten passed away in August 2014 from a cancerous tumor under her tongue. I'm still heartbroken about it, I don't think the pain will ever go away. She was my little kitty soul mate and she was my daughter, she had anxiety issues and was neurotic like me we were so alike. My shop color is yellow not because it's my favorite color but because while Neykitten was trying to recover from her surgery to have the tumor removed I would sing "You are my sunshine" to her while she laid on my chest and I pet her because she was my sunshine. (they didnt all the tumor and it grew very quickly after oxygen got to it. The vet didn't tell us it was cancerous, we found out later on and had I known it was cancer I would of never had the surgery done and I will feel guilty about it the rest of my life..)
I started my store in honor of Neykitten and most of the profit I make goes to helping me buy food and litter for our cats, the other part of profit goes towards restocking supplies.
I love all things cat related, and they are the inspiration for a lot of my designs. Follow me on instagram @_apresutti for design updates & photos of my black cat Nero :) I am on twitter as @Ciao_Gatto_Nero
My goal is to one day have every Crazy Cat Person own at least one of my items! Dream big!
Hi, I am so I found you. I was born with a cat and I can't imagine my life without one. All of our animals but one are rescues. Inside we have an old 20 lb. long hair white cat with diabetes, a feral kitten that only likes us, and three old poodles, one blind and deaf, another blind in one eye, and the last one she is loosing her hearing and at times her disc in her back go out. Outside we have a feral colony of ten. In the past 4 months we have been trapping them spay/neutering then releasing them. We I finally caught the Mom and four kittens two weeks ago. The four kitten were to small to fix so we had to bring them in and feed them with eye droppers. I still have bite marks and scars from one. Now all we have to do is feed them. Oh but they are so cute and I am learning so much about wild life behavior. We are still paying off 300.00 but people sponsored the first $300.00, so that makes me feel like I am supported by the universe.also I have met the best animals people through this whole experience. I am a artist, and I also make jewelry and collect old things. I have this shop and my fine art shop is just getting up and going slowly but steady, come check them out at CockeyedArtist.. I loved reading people's post . Thank you, Jeneieve
Hi! I'm Larisa & happy to be a new member of this team! I've loved animals all my life & as soon as I was on my own adopted 2 kitties. At one point we had 7...thus the shop name 7 Cats Heaven. With so many, & 2 of them bengals, we needed MORE for them to do & higher places for them to be. Some needed to be able to escape others & we came up with Kitty Clouds! My bengal banshee was my inspiration for the bed & my heart kitty. We lost her about 2 years ago to hyperthyroid & I still miss her every day. Over the years we added a rescue dog who brought tons of joy to our lives. We currently have 2 rescue greyhounds, a jack/aussie mutt, & 5 cats. Life is fun! Here's a link to my shop. https://www.etsy.com/shop/7CatsHeaven?ref=l2-shopheader-name
I'm Maria and I'm a life-long cat lover. I am owned by a 10-year old rescue tabby named Pryanik (Gingerbread in Russian) and an a owner of a cat website.
Here on Etsy I have a shop with cross stitch patterns: mostly geeky stuff (as I am a geek myself), but also with cat patterns based on my original drawings.
It's nice to meet you all. A little bit about myself. I am an animal lover who currently owns, err rather is owned by, three rescue cats who range in age from 8 to 19 years old. Two of my cats have disabilities and one is non-disabled. With that said, I am a disabled animal advocate. The most well known of my cats, Moki was featured on Season 2 of Animal Planets "Must Love Cats." The episode featured Moki getting his acupuncture and physical rehabilitation treatments. I wrote briefly for Catster, and worked as a Director of Social Media for Scout's Animal Rehab Therapy Fund, a fund which used to underwrite the cost of physical rehabilitation for disabled service animals, k9 units who got injured on the job, shelter animals, and for owners of disabled animals who otherwise could not afford such treatments. I say used to because the non-profit recently closed. In addition to these things I have volunteered at animals shelters in the past. These days I mostly help fundraise for individual animals, charities, causes and on-profits. So yup, I think that about covers it. :)
My name is Isabelle. I just joined this team and I opened my shop "ChatMage" on Etsy in August.

P.S : I am learning English so I'm sorry for the mistakes. Thank you for your understanding.
Hi team! I am here from today and happy because of it. When I was young I always had some cat and I adore them. Then, my parents bought me a little dog, and from that momenta I have a dog, but sometimes one black cat says at my home - when her human goes for a holiday, Jacky stays with me and my two dogs :) The animals were my inspiration for the collection of electronic devices sleeves and I think I will be going on adding other kind of items, like beauty cases, clutches and bags, everything with silhouettes of the animals. What do you think about my idea? Wish a nice day to all of you! Danica

Hi everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself, as well as my two cats Jasper and Daphne. We live in Honolulu, Hawaii (Aloha!) and love being on Etsy. Our goal is to be more active members of the Etsy community this year and we are glad to be a part of this team. :)
