Vendor Insurance

Anyone here have had to get vendor insurance for a show? One of the outdoor shows in Maryland I and a fellow Etsy artist is interested in this summer requires a vendor license. How do we obtain one? is it really $300 per show? I appreciate any feedback. Thank you guys!

Re: Vendor Insurance

I would suggestion you check with the county the show is in, if you haven't already, about getting a vendor license. If the county doesn't issue it hopefully they can tell you what state office you need to contact. Good luck

Re: Vendor Insurance

For Vendor Insurance:
I have not used this, but heard about in another thread:
Artists & Craft Fair Insurance: http://www.actinspro.com/
It looks like its $39 per show, or $265 per year.

Re: Vendor Insurance

I got insurance from ActInsPro for an event this summer. It's waaaay less expensive than the quote from my insurance agent.
