Location ideas for show?

I have been searching for a potential location for our show..... any thought on a good venue?

I've mostly been looking at hotels and fire stations. Hotels are pretty expensive. The fire stations are decent, but most are booked up on Saturdays.

What about a community center? There are two in Reston, one at Hunter's Woods and one at Lake Anne.

The Depot in Richmond, not exactly NOVA but VCU does rent it out, it's a great space.

The majority of people who responded to the survey said VA or DC. If you know of a good place in MD, please let me know!

What time of year are you looking to find a place? The Vienna Fire Department is a nice central location in a nice neighborhood and they were recently renovated- great space. It is not far off from 66 so easy to get to from DC or MD.

I am newer to the team, but definitely interested. Have you thought more South (the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg or maybe another college campus)? The one I suggested is not exactly Northern VA but it is not far from there, MD or DC. They would be big enough and I do know most colleges rent out space especially in the Summer if that is when you are planning it.

Hi everybody- Things didn't come together the way I had hoped for a Mother's Day show. Everybody I contacted regarding location didn't have any Saturdays available. Would anybody be interested in a back-to-school show? Or a fall show? Let me know!

Just my opinion- I think a fall show would do much better than a back to school show plus it would give more opportunities for a place. I would be interested. Thanks for all you are doing on this! :)
