shipping

I only ship sets of 10 greeting cards. They ship in three different size boxes depending on the quantity shipped. I would like to use calculated shipping but don't know how to do this.

Re: shipping

Jeffrey, you would take your stack of 10 cards and wrap them like you ship them (do you put bubble wrap or anything around them?) and you measure the dimensions of the stack.

I saw you say the cards are 5x7 so your measurements in your listing would be something like 7x5x2 (I am just guessing that 10 stacked up would be about 2 inches high). And if you put something around them, maybe the measurements are 8x6x3.

Whatever the measurement is, that is what you put in each listing for the card sets.

Then you need to put the set of cards in whatever you usually mail one set in - box or envelope - and weigh that. That is the weight you put into each listing.

You set your shipping profile up to include whatever mail classes you use, like First Class, Priority, Priority Express? You probably only need one profile. You attach the profile to your listings.

Last set up Package preferences - whatever you usually use to mail your cards. If you are putting padded mailers, make sure you put the height and make sure the height is high enough to fit how ever many card sets fit into the envelope.

If you want the calculator to only use the envelopes and boxes that you normally use, then list them all in package preferences and uncheck the box for etsy common sizes.

If you need more help come back.
