Shipping options

I have been using CS and I love it! Today for the first time someone selected, "standard mail," I didn't realize this was even an option. SO, now I am wondering what else they can choose, such as media mail, etc.. Can I remove these options in my profile?

Yes - go to your Profile Page - pick a profile and Edit - take out everything except what you offer - especially Media Mail! Only attach Media Mail (in it's own separate profile) to books.

I don't see standard mail, I only see:


USPS First Class Mail Domestic

USPS First Class International Package Service

USPS Priority Mail

USPS Priority Mail Express

USPS Priority Mail Express International

USPS Priority Mail International

First, you do not have all of your listings attached to profiles. If your order says Standard Mail it means that no profile was attached to it and it was not a calculated shipping listing.

You may want to have more than one profile, you have some books so if you want to offer Media Mail for those they need a separate Profile - read the thread here all about Media Mail.

You want to have one Profile that includes First Class, Priority and Priority Express (if you offer that). So that items that ship alone can go FC but if combined and go over the FC limit, they can go Priority.

Once you create a profile - you also have to attach it to a listing. You have not attached your profiles to all of your listings. They are coming up your old prices - that is what Standard means. No mail class at all.

You can do this by going to your listing manager - checking off listings - clicking on Other Actions - Shipping Profiles.
