How to Print Ship Label with CS??
My first item with Calculated Shipping sold. I went to print the shipping label and was dismayed that I needed to re-enter the package size and weight AGAIN. Really?? I thought that was the whole point of CS - to automatically create the shipping costs & label. I sell vintage, so every item is different - I entered the box size & weight when I listed the item. Maybe I'm missing something here??

Re: How to Print Ship Label with CS??
UPDATE -
When I manually entered the weight and box size for Priority Mail, the shipping cost was LESS than CS calculated. So my poor buyer got shanked for an extra $1.50 they didn't need to pay.
I don't get it. CS didn't save me any time, nor did it select the most cost effective shipping rate.
I'm sure this is all my fault for not using the system correctly, but geez it's confusing!!

Booth88 - first, do you have a handling charge on your shipping profile for the item that sold? or on a Package Preference that you entered? $1.50 sounds like a shipping and handling fee.
Second, do you have your calculated postage prices set for Retail or Etsy?
Third - the calculator is not integrated with shipping labels. These are two separate things. People using calculated shipping do not have to use Etsy labels unless they want to - they can go to the PO, they can print labels through PayPal or Stamps.com - anything they want.
Also, shipping labels have to be absolutely accurate. What gets calculated for an order can be off by a little - also, just because the calculator uses a certain box or envelope for your item, you don't have to use that. You still have to go through the steps of packing your item and weighing it before actually shipping.

Re: How to Print Ship Label with CS??
Booth88 I wanted to add, another reason you have to enter the weight again (and box size if Priority) is that if an order was a multi order then the info on the listings might have been different that what it would be when combined together.
The weight could have been a little different and the box size a little different.
I also went to your shop noticed quite a few of your items do not NOT have CS.
I got the same cost for my zip in NC and a zip on CA.
So it is possible the item you sold, did not have CS?
*********
As for entering this info it is no different than going to Paypal to print a label for an etsy order, none of this info is automatically filled in.
You have to select the shipping method, enter the weight and if Priority the box size on Paypal.
