Customer order but ship to France

Hi everyone I'm the owner of Lisa bridal store and my shops ships from USA to USA only and I got married June 11 2016 and my mom and cousin are run shop I made plenty of items to sell so they can just ship but a customer order a aisle runner happiness starts here but she in France how do I know the shipping cost do I cancel the order or should I just tell her I'll ship this time but I don't normally ship outside of USA my mom had sent me a message today about it she was okay until it says to France when we don't ship worldwide just USA thanks
What should I do ship it or tell her j can not ship to France will the local post office let me ship it from USA I'm new to out of USA shipping thanks comment below for the help

I'm confused- How did the customer from France able to place the order if your ship option is USA only?

To cancel the order or ship the order is up to you to decide.

You can estimate the shipping cost from US to France with Etsy Ship tool https://www.etsy.com/shipping/us/price-your-postage

If you ship USA only, perhaps you should remove the copy from your Shop Policies-
"Customs and import taxes
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs."

that what i dont understand other how she got to order it either, she in france would it be alot to ship to her and then ill make a note to further customers that i only ship in the USA cause i did check the listing and it says ships from USA to USA
i do not know how she was able to order erither
i have tried to message her and let her know that i only ship in the USA but i have not gotten a respoand back so i am gonna check out the prices and maybe this one time i let the order go through if not i would just have to cancle the order , right then the money will go back to her card, cause the money is due to go into my account and if i cancel the order then they take the money from my account and put it back to mine correct

i hope i can get a answer back from her soon, so she know thanks for all the help much appericated i never had anyone out of USA order from me before cause i have it set from USA to USA only

All you need to do to check is go to that sold item, click on copy and scroll down to the shipping section.

Since from what I can tell you are NOT using calculated shipping which is what this team helps with.

No matter what zip code I get the same shipping cost.

So if you go to EDIT for that sold item, look and see what you have in your shipping section.
If you have "Everywhere Else" selected with or without a shipping cost then that is how the buyer from France purchased your item.

You might have made a mistake just on this ONE listing and forgot to X out everywhere else.

That's the only way an international buyer can purchase items if you've made a mistake on that listing.

You also need to double check and make sure you don't have everywhere else and/or other countries selected for your other items.

That's all you need to do to find out if everywhere else was on that listing.

If you need further help, you might want to post in BUGS on the forum section or contact etsy support directly since admin. rarely monitors this team.

i check all my listing and made sure they say from USA to USA only, cause i am not ready to do else where shipping, is there a better option to use for reg shipping, cause i just put the price in for shipping, i would like to know if there a better one to use, and thank you for the help, looks like i did list it else where, and i check them all to make sure it says from and to USA only.

You can either use calculated shipping or you can enter your own shipping costs.

None of the items I checked had calculated shipping.
This team is only for help with calculated shipping.

I noticed a pair of socks cost $7.95 to mail the same as a heavy mason jar also $7.95. Then I saw another mason jar but with flowers and you have $16.75 to mail it?

The socks could be mailed for less than $3 with 1st class and the mason jar might cost more than $7.95.

It's up to shops to determine which is best for them.

I use calculated shipping in both shops and I'd never go back to manually entering shipping costs because you either have to over estimate or under estimate, It's never right on packages 1 lb or more since shipping from the east coast to west coast is a almost $11 but closer, only around $6.
