I have always been a creative person! I'm an Architect and not so long ago, when lived in Venezuela, where I come from, I used to teach at the local University. After my daughters were born, I used to spend most of my free time, planning all kind of parties, especially to celebrate our family life events, where I put all my inspiration in staging, designing and crafting special favors for our guests to remember by. I use every opportunity to cherish our family heritage and national culture with friends and family.

But life has lots of surprises! My husband, my two daughters and I decided to settle in a wonderful land up in the North, away from the warmth of the Caribbean and the rest of the family. After a smooth transition and lots of new experiences, I found an opportunity to follow my passion. I founded Get Surprised!

I really enjoy creating unique moments, full of traditions and lots of details. My new commitment is to help my customers create the most beautiful memories. I believe that the best thing about memories is making them, and I choose to do it so incredible, beautiful and memorable as possible as I can.

Our shop, Forever Yours Etchings is new to Etsy (since November, 2015).
We provide personalized custom etch products for the special memories in your life. Such as: Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Housewarming Gifts, Retirement Gifts, Holidays, etc.

We are a husband and wife team, Don and Terri that have been etching for over 15 years.

It was a hobby that grew into a “passion”. We create, design and custom etch glassware & metals using a method called “sandblasting”.

The name Forever Yours Glass Etchings comes from the concept that once you etch a special memory or occasion with a date, logo or art design on glass, metal, etc., it is permanently on that item “Forever”.

I am a stay at home mom to 3 girls. My husband is a teacher, and I also have a teaching degree. My shop makes pre packed hospital bags for moms. I plan to expand my shop to include baby kits, nurses' gifts, and hospital door announcements as well. Pregnant moms already have enough to worry about, let us pack for you.

This whole crazy wine cork business began as the result of a small request from my mom—I guess, in my case, mother was the necessity for invention. She had come upon a photo of a wine cork holder shadow box online and asked if I might be able to make her something similar for Christmas. Being handy with a tool or two, I happily obliged; and the well-received gift that followed became the genesis of a whole new operation.

my main profile is creating harmonic nursery rooms, I sell accessories with harmonic design from crib bumpers to paper storages.
