When it comes to what I do for a living, play in the dirt, I get excited and can stay up till the wee hours researching fat soluble vitamins in plants. When I try to learn about inventory tracking and bar code scanners and this new iPad, I fight keeping my eyes open. My brain literally almost refuses to process. But here I am, trying very hard to learn this!
I'm very good with excel spreadsheets and we are a very small business, so I thought I'd start there. But what I"m trying to learn, and maybe some fingers here can point me to a guide, is how to track my personal inventory for vending at festivals and the stores that we have our products in and how to automatically keep etsy updated. I would like to use a bar code scanner.
When I'm on the road during the busy season and travelling from show to show I sell out and then make sales on my Etsy shop and am out.
I've been reading all morning and will just continue reading, but thought I'd introduce myself too.
