You will need to add the follower widget to your blog. Let me do a little research on how to do that for wordpress - I'm not very familiar with wordpress but I'm sure I can find out for you!

Hi,

I've just started my blog and was wondering how you create links to a facebook page and twitter without their logo appearing.

I want to have a link to 'Facebook' but can only get Facebook's logo to appear as a link. I would like something simplistic that follows the theme of my blog.

This sounds confusing, hope you understand what I mean...

You can get buttons made or you can actually create your own buttons - I can't do the graphic ones yet but I can take an image that you would like to link to facebook or twitter and code it for you so that it will link up. Email me at jmanandmillerbug@gmail.com and we can discuss more info.

Thank you for taking the trouble to look into that for me. Really appreciated. Turns out the Google Friend Connect widget does not work on blogs hosted by wordpress.com :-( I assume that means anyone following my blog will have to connect each time? or have I got that wrong?

I started my blog a few months ago but I still have a million questions. One question is.....how do you make a picture clickable? Like for example if I post a picture of a cute dress or something, how do I make it so if you click on the picture it takes you to where you can buy online?
Does this make sense?

To make your pictures clickable you have to plug them into a code so that they will take you to the website. See the code below. Replace the WEBADDRESS with where you want it to take you (leave the " - just enter the URL in the middle) and then put the picture URL (you will have to either pull it from online or use a program like Picassa to get the URL where it says PICTRE URL. I'm sure there is probaby an easier way but this is how I do it. If you have any poblems making it work, let me know and I'll be happy to help! Heading over to check out your blog now!

If you go to google friend connect and sign up, you get the widget in there. You can change the colors and size of it to match your blog design... and then you take the code and place it in a text (html) box in your wordpress dashboard (in your widget panel - sidebar or extrabar)...

I have a question. i set up tabs (pages) on my blog because i wanted to have all my freebie friday posts in one place so people can find them easier, but i am having a hard time doing a multiple post on any of the pages. take a look and let me know how to do this?

Hmmm....I don't know alot about this one. I have never put individual posts on my tabs. I usually just use them for information about things that I have going on. I'm going to have to do a little reasearch. Anybody else on here had experience with this?

RedheadsAndRuffles On Blogger, I do not think one can do posts on a page. I think that a page is really a post but is being placed in a different location. Therefore only comments can be added.

Please if anyone know differently let us know.

You can't technically "post" to a static page, but depending on whether your tabs are set up as pages or a link list (redirecting to a linked object (page or search term), you can set up a link so that your static page will search out all posts with a certain label (like recipes, or tutorials) and then list them on the page. I use pages for my tabs right now, but I have a link list in my sidebar to accomplish what you're looking for lambsandivydesigns (if you're still looking!)

Hi...team newbie and a HTML idiot. I use Blogger for my blog and want to have the Etsy Mini on my blog. I do not have the option to add a gadget as HTML on my blog like others have said you do to add the mini. Do I edit the HTML code itself? If so, where do I paste the code for the mini? I'm totally lost.

I searched all of your threads to find info on how to create a blog before I opened this thread. I will liken my understanding of blogs as if I was in preschool. lol I stumble so much that I marked this thread as private.

How do I create a team blog? Learn how to do basic ropes for my personal blog in existence? I am the captain of the Lost and Found team. I'm really lost! Now, that may sound like a pun as that is my nature. Not in this case. Smiling.

I'm stumbling enough with my own blog. I don't know how to set up the sidebars as I call them. I also don't know where to find badges and/or links to my shop, or sites with interesting info that encourages traffic to support my team. I'm confused. My team's ID is recycling, up-cycling, etc.) I don't know hardly anything except what I did as I stumbled when I created my personal blog. I don't know how to use widgets. I don't know a lot about codes. I don't know what other questions to ask, or info to give you.
