Does anyone have paid advertising/sponsorship spots on their blog? I want to start charging for 3 or 4 spots on my blog but not sure what to charge? I was thinking an introductory offer of $5 per month if you sign up for two months - does that seem low or reasonable? Do you think that i should also do a brief post about my sponsors? any other tips?
I don't have much experience unfortunately but the price seems low to me. On another blog, I was quoted the following for advertising: $10 per month or $25 for three months or $50 for 6 months. The three month and six month deals also included a feature in their ultimate gift guide for Mothers Day. Let me know what you end up deciding. It doesn't seem high to me, probably in the range of where I would start out if I wanted to buy. That being said, I currently have mine for free, just an exchange. So, it is up to you, charge what you want and go from there.
It's super straight forward. I used it to promote my shop for awhile then recently added a few ad spots to my blog! I also like that it's a daily cost rather than cost per click like adwords.
Sorry for the double post but I just realized I don't think you can put a project wonderful ad on blogspot >_< Unless that's changed... I don't use blogspot though so I'm not sure
