How many boot cuffs have you sold?

One Etsy seller told me that she sold 950 pairs of boot cuffs in the two months before Christmas! How many did you sell? How seasonal are boot cuff sales?

I sold approx 400 boot cuffs last year....My busiest time was Nov and Dec of course. Last year was my first year making/selling boot cuffs. Since the Holidays my sales have dropped significantly of course. I am making them almost daily to stock up for the 2014 season =)

I started selling them late last year at a request of a friend and sold seven pair by Christmas time just here locally. Started my Etsy shop up in January and haven't sold any off of the store yet, but I hope to sell even more next winter.

I read the directions wrong when I knit a pair for a Christmas gift. They ended up looking pretty nice so I created a pattern for them right after Christmas. Have sold only 2 patterns, but maybe should consider knitting more after reading Lori's comment! Nice job Lori!

I probably sold about 20 pairs starting at craft shows then on here. I hated making them at first, but I created my own 2 patterns and can make them easily now, but I had no idea they were so popular. I plan to make a lot over the next 8 months so I'm ready for next Christmas and cold weather season!

I just opened up my store recently, so i have not sold any boot cuffs yet. but, before i started the store and was selling in person, they were a popular item. i have probably sold 20 pairs since the holidays

I started making mine October after seeing a pair in a department store. They are by far my biggest sellers. I estimate I sold about 90 pairs during the Christmas rush. I live in California & I don't see many people with them. All of the orders I filled were east coast. Maybe the trends hasn't hit here yet.

I sell my boot cuffs before the Christmas always. Last year I sold about 10 pairs and this year around the same amount.

I just started making and selling bootcuffs in January and have sold 5 pair. Since I live in AZ, where we only have about a month of boot weather I don't expect to sell them at home much, mostly just in my shop. My bootcuff orders have all been for the East Coast.

I've sold about a half dozen pair between Etsy and friends since January. I missed the holiday rush last year, but I'm stocking up for it. I've tried a few patterns and have one I really like now, though I'm still toying with ideas as I'd like to have some options when it comes to texture and edging.

I sold two pairs after Christmas. I'm working on some now so I can do like others and stock up for the upcoming Fall season. They are so simple and fun to make! I really need to get my shop stocked with more items anyway.

I've sold 8 pair, all the same style and color, so I decided to add more colors and another style. We'll see how that goes!

I have been making leather boot cuff/wraps since the 70's and selling them but mostly giving them to college friends, we didn't have many tools then and I would painstakingly cut the leather with kitchen scizzors and bil the leather to make into flowers LOL

I have sold four pairs of the cuffs for Friends, but none on my shop yet. I just listed them a few weeks ago and I am hoping to sell more later this year.

I haven't sold any that I have made, but I have sold the patterns. The brown cuffs took me forever and I wasn't sure how much to price them. I still think I priced them too low; it's probably because I don't have a model showing how awesome they look. I probably won't make more for awhile because my biggest seller are the pouches.

I opened my shop around thanksgiving this past year. I sold around 50-60 pairs between then and Christmas and a few pairs afterwards. Most of my sales were from etsy but I also sold a lot to personal friends and family. Since then my sales have basically dropped off. I'm starting to stock up for next season and create one or two new patterns, along with some summer items to keep my views/sales up.

HI everyone..we started selling bootcuffs in Jan (missed the Christmas rush). And have sold about 30 pairs at an artisan co-op shop that we are part of, as well as local fairs. But have only sold 1 pair in our Etsy shop. Not sure what we're doing wrong? As our boot cuffs are not knit, ladie's can also wear them into spring and summer, with their rain boots and cowboy boots. Any idea how I can generate some more sales? Thanks!

I sold about 76 pair on Etsy between the end of Nov. and the first part of Jan. I made several for gifts and sold a few to friends who needed last minute gifts. I created my own pattern by accident because I read the pattern I was using wrong, but thats ok I liked the way mine turned out better!!!

I have sold well over 100 pairs since listing them on etsy in the fall of 2012. I worked up a pair for the heck of it and was amazed to see them take off like they did. I am working on a pair right now.

I don't have the exact number across all colors, but I want to say its close to around 150. My shop has only been open since August of 2013, and it was my best selling item.

I opened my shop in January, 2014 and so far, the only thing I've sold have been the boot cuffs! I sold 5 pairs so far - 4 pairs to one person in Las Vegas! That was a totally unexpected custom order!

i do need to start making some really cute creative pairs rather then basic ones. they don't take that long to make at all. but with 4 kiddos i get kinda distracted
