Im going to start with a set of my jars made it to the Home & Living main image and my views are crazy!! Im in shock my picture is there! Like I cannot believe it!! lol

Now if it could include some sales! ha ha!

I dont want to post in the main forum but, I had to share with someone! :D

So far the season has been very quiet here at home but I'm sure it'll pick up once thanksgiving is here.

The shop and blog have been nuts as I'm in the process of rebranding and refocusing my message.

Anyone here willing to do some trade? Im looking for stuff to use as props in my listings/blog/website. Garlands, poofs, straws, baked goods/treats/candy, party items to stylize with my jars. baby shower listings so maybe small teddy bears or stuffed toys, things of that nature. Things small enough to fit in my photo area.

Garland only needs to be about 2 ft, send stale candy or cookies you cant sell but, still looks good. Send me dud straws, stuffed toys, etc. These just need to look good for photos if you know what I mean. I wont judge on the duds, I have a whole pile myself! LOL

I'll give you photos to use, link it in the listings, and blog it. I'll take some basic product shots and take shots where your item is primary and mine is secondary so they are more suited for your listings. Samples of photos in the shop of looks Im going for! :)

Im also open to general trades for photos or jars.

Ok so I was just alerted by a seller someone is using my photos to sell jars on her instagram. Shes using 27 photos! Sheesh!? Seriously!?

You'd think it was my IG! LOL Lame! her accounts are down now, she was using five other sellers photos too! All over IG, FB, and Twitter!

All of us hit her with take downs.

Glad she was taken down, Kelly. I would be so livid if I ever found my photos being used by someone else. >.<

Things have been quiet here on my end as I've been hit by a few personal issues all at once including the death of my friend's dad and some damages in our home due to a pipe bursting in the kitchen. I'm trying to get back into the thick of things but catching up has taken a lot out of me!

Just checked them both Kelly and I LOVE them! :D Modern, fresh and clean! Really accentuates your gorgeous photography. I noticed though that your social media icons aren't loading. Other than that everything looks fab!

Vent/Rant:

Sometimes I want to start a blog about micro business/Etsy things for beginners. Kind of like my Bad Etsy Advice series I did a while back where I tried to cut through fluff a bit. I feel like I have a lot to say on the subject but it just doesn't fit with my main blog/website.

I wouldn't want to do it alone though, I'd like a collaborative effort with others of some sort. Is that a crazy thought? I'm busy with my business but I feel moved towards this type of writing more and more.

There are a lot of blogs that talk about starting a small business but I don't see them writing about the day to day stuff you actually have to deal with and have questions about.

With the whole "Etsy shop that shall not be named" fiasco from recently I feel like I'm seeing a lot more "you just need one perfectly crafted instagram post and all your dreams will come true!! *throws confetti*". I don't think that's useful information at all. It's popular in a feel-good kinda way, but now helpful.
