https://www.etsy.com/listing/105778688/waldorf-inspired-awakeasleep-mini-dollsI need some advice......I have looked at other dolls listed as awake/asleep and sad to say all are poorly made, I mean really bad...not stuffed right, weird not kid friendly faces, just strange...anyway, what I need help with is pricing....I know, ugh!.....these dolls are very labor intense and have to do lots of hand sewing/basing so they take longer to make. But I keep thinking why would someone want to pay $30 for a doll when we live in a Walmart society...you know, "I can get a cute plastic toy at Walmart for $15" I know there is a market out there for handmade things but I have not sold anything but two baby bibs, not one of my dresses or capes or nursing covers. I started making the plush toys and dolls because they are fun for me to make and I wanted something different in my shop. So, I put everything on sale at 20% off. I priced these dolls at $25 but wanted to price them at least $30. My poor husband doesn't understand that it might be months before I sell anything and he sees how hard I work and the long hours on the computer and said to keep everything low so at least you have sales. He thinks that $25 might even be too high........I am soooo confused......help!
