I started up shop back in february or march, and it slowly took off. then, about 1 1/2 months ago i was selling something every day for about two weeks, now have completely dropped off of the face of etsy! I can find my items okay, so im not sure if its neccessarily the titles or tags, and am viewed on average about 100 times a day. so im stuck asking myself about tags, titles, prices, i dont know..........I was hoping maybe someone could take a peek at my shop and let me know if you see any adjusting that could be done.?
I would truly appreciate it :)

Re: what am i doing wrong?

would love to know what is happening.. seems that many of us are in the same situation, lots of views, but sales have fallen off...
It has been 2 years for me now, and thought it would be building, not declining...
but glad to hear it isn't only me.. hoping for it to get better for all of us!

Re: what am i doing wrong?

I haven't read the whole thread so can you explain what you mean by tagging photos?

If you mean calling them from source by what it is then I understand. However in the scheme of things it means zip to my knowledge on Etsy and about the same elsewhere. If I am searching for a picture of George Clooney on Google images for example I can guarantee that in most instances the images will come up because of the source material it is in an that SEO and not the image itself. If you right click and view the html you'll probably find absolutely no relevant information to George Clooney in the information for that photograph. E.g. the image is 12356.jpg but the whole piece and the url is full of George Clooney references.

Focus on titles, tags and descriptions for your products and read and inwardly digest and apply everything above and beyond an image reference both for Etsy searches and SEO. E.g. this from SASsy. http://etsymentors.blogspot.com/p/critique-your-own-shop.html
