How much views do you get on average per day?

I am working on increasing my page/store views. Right now my views are pretty low. I was wondering, on average how many page views do you guys get per day?

Depending on the amount of marketing I've been doing and the time of year, it can range anywhere from 800 - 1200 per day.

I've been in business for just over 10 years now. My newsletter is a great way to reach my customers as is my local artisan connection.

Many of my students will shop online simply because it saves them a trip to the studio and their purchases will arrive quite often the day after they place their order.

I've been doing local art festivals for about 8 years now and get quite a bit of referral business from that. Many people will take a card for themselves and one to pass on.

I also try to list a few new items each day and average listing close to 100 new items each month. That keeps the stock moving.

wow, crochetgal thats amazing! shelly if it helps i was getting about 10 veiws per day, and with a couple of weeks of new listings, re doing photos, tags and banner, im getting alot more. more like 30-40 per day. i know it doesn't sound much..and only bought in a few sales Im really pleased, and going to keep working on it. i think the most successful point to bring ppl in, was re doing my titles.

My views are generally between 75 to 200 per day. I've had a few VERY good days, but mostly in that range. Also looking at all the options for improving my views.

I have just 20-40 views per day. I opened my shop on the 7th of December and for now I have 600 views for all period and no sale yet :(

Interesting..google analytics is doing some kind of promotion where they are giving $100 free advertising for the first $25 you spend. The promotion ends December 31st - I think I might give it a try.

I think exploring marketing avenues outside of Etsy would be beneficial.

I'm also in the 20-40 range, sometimes more. I try to list new items often, but it is difficult with handmade items to list something new every day.

Before I started promoting heavily on teams the highest views per day received was 31. I joined some new groups dedicated to promotion and SEO where I have been promoting heavily the last 2 days. December 18 I had 135 views and December 19 I had 186 views. This yesterday I did not promote at all until 11 am and had 20 views, which is better then previously with no promotion. I ended up having time to promote later in the day and ended the day strong with 186 views. Today I have done a few spotted promotions on the boards and I have 56 views.


The last 2 days I have taken time to go through a few of my listings and try to get better titles, tags and descriptions that make use of better SEO tactics, so that I will not have to continue to promote my brains out and still get a steady flow of views.

In reality it is converting those views into sales that matters.

That's just it, Michelle! Without SALES, having tons of views seems of little importance. I know it it exciting to see that column's number so high, but if you go several days with hundreds of views and no sales at all, it does little for one's bottom line!

I have 5-10 views per day :P I've been everything but active the last few weeks due to my pregnancy, so that's probably a reason :P

Between 150-200. And I'm happy with that. I have at least one sale each day! I prefer less but profitable views! Otherwise I would think ''So many views, no sales... I must be doing something wrong!''

it's been three days since i listed items on my shop for the first time.
i listed 8 items and so far, i got about 20 views total.
i have no idea how to raise views : (

Bo~ You are starting in a good place ... figure out your focus so that you can define keywords and make use of them through out your shop so that you can increase the views ....... review your shops title and announcement... also make use of tags in each listing this would be used in your title, description and tags ... check out some of the SEO articles as well.

Then once you have made the changes you can check shop stats ( hover over Your Shop: BosAttic and a window pops up select shop stats) and watch the keywords to see how people are finding your store.


Other ways to get views are to:
-add new items .. new items are listed on Etsy's home page in a rotating bar at the bottom its good publicity... new items usually have a limited time where they get more views.

-promote your store on teams .. there are a lot of threads in this group ( and other promotion specific teams such as THE Networking Team, Advertising and Promotion Team, and The Crazy Advertisers Team, just to name a few) to promote your store or games to help with stats .. this increases views, but also team members will favorite your items store or include you in treasuries or in their circle. The more favorites your items receive the better the chance your item has to be selected for an Etsy feature selection.

-promote using social media .. facebook, twitter, pinterest ... oh the list goes on and on.

The more active you are in the teams and social media, the higher the views. When I'm active it's about 70 a day, when I just sit back about 40.

Like I said earlier I normally average around 10 views in one day, yesterday I had almost 300 people view my page, I have no idea what I did differently yesterday and it doesn't seem like I was featured anywhere or anything like that. Oh well, I enjoy it :D

We buy search ads and we generally receive 1,000- 1,500 views a day. They work AWESOME!!

@JC Scullard: Really? Search Ads work? I find they don't do anything for me, maybe I should revise my keywords. For your search ads, do you target your keywords to a certain item in your store or all items in your store?
