Found this shop and discovered it's probably the best way for me to figure out how to do a bulk destash!
Just posted on the main etsy discussion board, here's my story:
https://www.etsy.com/teams/7718/questions/discuss/16495187/page/1I'm a beader, and I'm a more than a little addicted to buying beads. I have been buying more beads than I can possibly use up, so I've listed a bunch to destash.
Recently, I realized that I have SO much more I should destash. All of these beads and unfinished projects are really a psychic drain. I love beads and making jewelry, but the sheer number of high quality beads that are "wasted" by sitting in bags in drawers makes me feel like I'm letting down the beads.
(I know that sounds goofy, but probably the hardcore beaders know what I'm talking about.)
I'm extremely fortunate that I have well-paying day job. Right now it's more important to me that the beads go to a good home than I recoup any costs--I'd rather support bead artists who are doing this for a living. I don't have a lot of free time however, due to the day job :)
What's the most efficient way for me to do this? Do I post a bunch of photos of different things to destash, then start conversations to have people pick and choose what they will use?
(Can you tell I'm a perfectionist? I re-read this and I'm clearly obsessing way too much!)
