Hi Everybody

I'm glad to be part of this team - hopefully we can all help each other be successful!

I've been fascinated with stones and gems all my life. I used to go on vacations with my family and dig through mine tailings to find the wonderful things the miners left behind when they extracted the main mineral they were looking for. More than 10 years ago I realized I could turn some of these treasures into jewelry, and there has been no looking back. I have sold at Farmer's Markets and Craft Shows for many years and recently discovered Etsy. I enjoy my shop and hope to make it even better and actually profitable one day.

I have a full time job at the Library of Congress in Washington DC that is also very rewarding. I live with my adult son and our two cats out in the rural suburbs of DC. Nature has always been my inspiration and favorite materials include silver, stones and gems (of course), pearls and handmade glass beads. I have discovered many glass bead artists here on Etsy and appreciate being able to use their work in my creations.
