I am going to be choosing one shop per day to favorite and favorite five items in it. I am hoping that everyone will share their shop and maybe the person that posts behind them will favorite their shop and five items in it.

Hello! I'm new to etsy and had my first ever sale the other day!! No review though :( I presume they got it, bad news travels faster right? Yes, it has been frustrating. I did really well over the Christmas Holiday and in January and then my sales plummeted to nothing. I have tried posting highlights on Pinterest and my Facebook, but I simply do not have the time to do a good job on social media. Still, I receive a good amount of traffic to my shop, but no sales. I was beginning to wonder if my site was blocked. Glad to hear others are experiencing the same downfall in moving their inventory.

After a sale, I track the shipment. Upon notification from the shipper that the package has been delivered, I follow-up with my customer to confirm delivery, that they have their merchandise in-hand, and that it was delivered without incident. Once they respond, I thank them for their support and provide a gentle reminder to complete the Etsy review. Some will provide a public review while others simply respond to my email.

I took your advice and whenever anyone favorites an item in my shop I visit their site and find at least one item to favorite in return. I then look at the shops and items they have favorited and chose those that share my interests. Finally, I further follow your advice by selecting 1-5 items for that shop's favorite places and followers.

Thank you for the tip. Although I have been experimenting several other approaches to market my shop, this strategy has contributed to increase my shop's exposure and helped re-generate my sales after becoming practically dormant since January! I just wish Etsy provided a method for tracking more specific data on exactly where my shop visitors are coming from.
