I've never made a treasury before but have been honored to be included in many. Today I will read about how to make a treasury and make one using items from other team members. I don't expect a front page treasury but I'll give it a whack. I'm sure none of of us will get much front page exposure unless we have twig pencils, paper mustache's or bubble necklaces. My apologies if this is someone's selling forte' . There should be more happening than just bitching about the forums or members of them. Anyone else care to join in a banned treasury day. One day we should all try to do so many treasury's we dominate the treasury list, JUST BECAUSE WE CAN, even if some can't post. I expect the ban soon. I've started posting again and tend to say what my little pea brain thinks while it rattles around. Now if the girls would stop dancing up there around the pea I'd be set.
Here's another one from yesterday I loved. I've never been around so many people who try to snitch off other people. I just don't understand it, it's like a whole new culture.
Dave, I appreciate your putting aside your feelings about bubble necklaces to include mine in your first Treasury List, haha! Hey, at least I make mine and don't just resell plastic crap from China. I've only made one Treasury List so far, didn't really know what I was doing. It's very time consuming, and certainly didn't make front page (not sure how that even happens), but I felt like I at least helped a few newbies (myself included) get some views, and often people return the favor.

That's what I had in mind, there have been front page items with hundreds of listings with the same item by many different shops. I get those geometric type beads in some of your listings, it's almost a rasta thing. Angles and all. My second treasury only took half as long as my first. I bet if you have a lot of favorite items you could crank out good treasury's in about 5 minutes. Keep your favorites in different lists, each has things that go with or compliment each other in treasury's. It's funny that yesterday my offsite search engine traffic was maybe up a bit, coincidence or treasury? I'll do a couple today to see what happens, I'm going to include everyone on this team in a treasury. It may take a couple of day's but no one should think I am not featuring them for some reason. hope you were not offended, When I'm trying to offend someone there is no doubt about it but that's not an internet thing, nameless, faceless wolf tickets. I save that for family and people I know. Face to face.
I like making treasuries too but I haven't had much time to make them lately.
From what I have seen to make the front page treasuries have to have muted colors with white backgrounds. Then the curator promotes the heck out of it.
someone should make a treasury for resellers give etsy a helping hand to rid them from this site, oh nevermind they are bringing in more money than the handmade shops thanks etsy , can someone tell me if the resellers have to jump thru an eye of a needle to bring customers to their shop or is it that etsy is giving them a leg up

I did that. I made a Treasury of "Harry Potter Antique Watches", and not just any Harry Potter Antique Watches (of which there are quite a few designs) but only identical Harry Potter Antique Watches. All from different sellers, all even with different photographs. It took me about 10 minutes and that's how long the treasury lasted on the site before it was taken down. A week later I received a warning email about disparaging sellers. = Strike One!
I made a Hello Kitty treasury and one reseller actually replied to thank me for including them! They didn't get it but the admins must have cuz now it's gone.
Oh what a wonderful place! I can breathe again! I have not yet been banned from the forums but have been "warned" in the past & had posts deleted today. So glad to find other "misfit toys" to play with!
WELCOME creepystuff! I enjoyed your posts in the thread where Brandi was pretending to be an admin. Oh, that could be confusing since she does that in every thread. I meant the thread from last night. I hope it doesn't cause you to get muted. I made a snarky comment to her, and it was the final straw for me.
I would say it was Queen "B" & bible-thumper (That sordid thread!) that got me booted off the forums for 7 days...Damn! That was some fine entertainment!
