And for those of you that do, is it more or less effective for you?

I sell on there too Kristy and have my own website. I would suggest not putting all your eggs in one basket and only selling on Etsy.

I have sold a lot on madeit and I do believe it is worth it as it is Australian and it is very promoted, loads of people know it.

The costs are slightly higher than Etsy but I change the prices to reflect the differences...good luck!

I sell a little on Facebook & my stuff sells really well at markets, but being from a small area I don"t get many market opportunities. I have a very small profit margin (It's really only a hobby & I like the to be affordable) so was a bit put off Madeit by the 10c eatra to list each item but if its going to sell than maybe its worth it.

Hi there - I sell on madeit.com.au also. I have had 3 sales there so far! (Only a new shop) But my larger expensive prints have sold there while here on etsy only my small 4x6 prints have sold so I think people are more willing to buy on madeit.com.au

I have set up my shop, but at my prices the 15c extra listing fee is a pain, it's nearly double etsy! I'm just wondering if madeit advertises itself very well, I only knew about it from craftumi site.
Maybe we should all get together & push its profile a bit? Will have to see if they have community forums like this
Also did you get the google tracking number, I went to the site but got a little lost & couldn't work it out :(
