Understanding how things work

Hi Angela,

Could you explain the differences between Admire,Treasury,Favorites,& Followers? How do I use them?

I'm a little confused.

Hi Audrey,

Sure......

*Admire:
is the new heart. When someone admire's your shop item it goes into their activity feed. It's great exposure.

* Treasury:
Is a collection of (16) items that you find shopping on etsy. It can be colors, trends, really anything you like. It's basically a way to promote others on etsy.

(You are not suppose to include your shop in a treasury you curate.)

*Favorite's:

Are the same as admirer's. Most people favorite an item to go back for a possible purchase later or to treasure, or they just like it.

Remember everything your favorite all your followers see. If you don't want to see what everyone else is looking at...just click on your activity only.

*Followers:

Are the new circles. When you follow someone or they follow you, they can track what you are looking at and visa versa.

How do you favor a shop. And what do you mean by "new"? Still not sure how to go about it.

When you find a shop you like...you will see on the right side of the page "favorite this shop" with a heart next to it...click on this heart.

You can also favorite the item by clicking on the "favorite this item " link.

No you don't ...but it's helpful to belong to treasury teams.

Now making a treasury:

A treasury consists of a grouping or collection of 16 items. Any color, any content.

When you find an item you wish to place in your treasury, look on the right hand side of your screen...you will see:

Shop owner

Followers

Item
See who favorites this item
Add item to treasury<<<<<-------------

Click on this. Now click on New Treasury. Name your treasury. and go surfing around etsy for items to add to your treasury.

It's considered a no,no, to add your shop to your own treasury...
Once you have all your items...
contact the shops you have treasured....so they can help promote it too.
