About this team

"Ask Alice" is a group about community and with that I want to encourage open communication so that we can all grow. Period. I was inspired by the old newspaper columns where you could write in a question adressed to a Dear..someone... Sometimes it amazes me.. the power of writing something down or typing... This will also be a group where we appreciate the diversities of our shops. WE can ask any question, collaborate, inspire, and support each other through an open question forum where nothing but positive encouragement and feedback is encouraged. I have been a shop member since 2010 but I am 35 now and in career transition. Working with the Etsy community is something I value. I want to learn and grow with this group in the present moment. I recently reopened/revamped my shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/lightningsgal "Lightenings Gal"was inspired by the Nancy Sinatra song from the 60s "Lightening's Girl".... There is a lot of work to be done for improvement in my shop for sure, as I am now trying to get back into the swing of things. I love the history of vintage items of all kinds. Please share any history of items you want to promote on this team board. A support team is a positive circle I want to be apart of in this career transitional period of my life. This is a board where I encourage everyone to write messages asking questions... because we are all learning and can benefit from each other's insight and expertise. I want us to promote each other. Promote your beautiful items and share and ask away! This will be a positive team, where we can collaborate as an etsy community, while sharing new ideas, answers to Esty shop questions, or just to write a quote of the day if you want! If you just had a bad day, maybe write a short message on the "Ask Alice" board and you never know...a possible response from a support team member could inspire or just help shine a positive light onto a situation...Who knows? We don't know what will happen 5 minutes from now! Right now, I hope this group gains a lot of positive energy and light. Peace, EKW
