Let's get some ideas
Maybe it would be good to keep our paintings of a single item (animal, flower, tree etc.) or still life of no more then 3 items.
It will be fun to see how different our paintings will be
I mentioned about painting a single rose......I have photos of single rose buds and will choose one to send to everyone if a rose is chosen. If your idea is chosen by the participants then you must send the photo to all of us.
So I'll start the suggestions and if you like the idea then add your vote to the number in the ( ).
If you have an idea then put your idea as #2 and after your idea put (1) since you are voting for you idea....ideas not chosen can be used for our next challenge. Make sure you copy & paste the list with your vote or your idea.

I noticed that no one voted to paint the moving dog one. HA! I threw that in because I agreed to do a commissioned watercolor only to find out that the photo I was supposed to base it on was an out of focus shot, over exposed, with the dog leaping. Poor lighting and a dull boring composition. I was going to make you all paint it just to see if anyone could make a decent painting out of it.

Haven't connected with the woman yet to get more (hopefully better) pictures of the dog. sigh.

Do we have enough pink roses from the challenge to make a treasury yet? We should do one if we have enough of them. So far, I think Trish, me, Donnarose, Rachel, Sheri, and Nora have done pink roses. Sorry if I left anyone out.

Everyone is so busy this time of the year.
I'm going to be busy on a challenged commission.

In all due respect postpoining the challenge to the new year....

with the spirit of the season why not create a Winter Image
or say Christmas Image?

This leaves it w i d e open to an easier quickie to meet within a few weeks, yes? Make it fun. Like a simple greeting card. It'll all be a surprise to see.

Then we may proceed into the new year challenge as agreed.

Oh, no cheating and bringing out any archives > I say this because I have plenty that never sold. ho-ho-ho

I'm in panic mode trying to fill custom orders for Christmas.... and you come up with a Winter Greetings Quickie?? LOL.

From one who didn't even post her beautiful rose.... Just teasing you a little. I guess if everyone else is game.. I might be able to come up with something wintery.
But, I really like the O'Keefe flower idea. Not that I could do justice.. but I like the idea.
