I'll start?

If you check out my shop you'll see they style of my work, I was hoping some of you guys might be able to suggest some more things I could paint?

Watercolour is a medium I find very organic because we see pigment flows and different levels of saturation in the work. By looking carefully we can feel the artist brush movements on the paper. Your work is very carefully studied and you technique impresses me (because I tried watercolour and I can only produce puddles and messes :-)

So I'd like to suggest you pick technical and industrial subjects and give them an organic treatment; objects like bolts, screws, machine parts, old telephones, etc. could become alive and project an impression of evolving towards (put whatever state you want here).

Cool! I'm impressed. You did this in no time! The pen details that delineate the form and highlight exquisite manufacturing details complements very well the sense of movement expressed by the watercolour. It's as alive as your other plants and animals drawings/paintings.

How long, if I may ask, did it take you to execute this?

Personally, I would love to see your take on cooking utensils-pots, pans, ladles etc
I've always loved how copper & stainless steel finishes on cook ware play with the surrounding colors.

What about stretching out your subjects (extending the length of a fork, or a cat's ears), and/or painting an everyday object from a different point of view (a screw from the perspective of an ant?).

Since this is the idea generator thread, and Halloween is coming, it could be nice to design something related to that event.

I find your work most sucessful when it's not so contained. For example the fish have so much movement both in the composition and paint. Might want to check out the artist, Jim Dine, especially his skulls.

Sometimes a batch of new materials gets my imagination going. I recently purchased some handmade recycled paper & the unique nubbly texture and inclusions got me started on a series of animal paintings.
