I'm Michel from Montreal, Canada. Almost 50 but my head is full of ideas and I don't have enough hands or time to materialize them all.

I like to consider myself on a moving dot in a triangle delimited by fashion, art and crafts. I like to think of what I do a mix of all of these: not trendy enough to be a fashionista, too obscure to be a crafter, and no format art formation besides fashion school to be a pure artist. But I see all of this in a very positive way.

Riots have made international news, seems so surreal

So it is true after all that what we see from other countries is most of the time the best of the best. The usual, the bad and the ugly... that's for the news headlines. The wonderful, the exceptional that's for the art magazines and web sites. Guess I should read more newspapers ;-)

Hey! Id hold of on teach here in ny for a while- there is a hiring freeze. I ended up getting a job at a private school. Things are crazy everywhere though!

I live in a small village called 'Southowram' about a hours drive from Manchester. It seems really bad, and it really hits when you see places you've been and go to regularly (the Arndale centre) being smashed into and robbed. I find it disgusting, in my opinion the army/serious force needs to be used against these people.

And at the moment I'm in my first year of uni, so by the time I've done my degree and then a teaching degree it'll be 3 years from now, so I'm hoping things will be better. I'd really live to move to Australia too.

I'm Lynn, But my clown name is Miss Priss. Yup. I dress up stupid and get paid for it. It's a hoot. I get to use my creative hands for facepainting and balloon sculpture. ( I have magic stuff for sale on my site, and funny clown gags and novelties. I also am a seamstress by other profession, actually been doing alterations longer than the clowning. Hence the embroidered items for sale. I like to do all kinds of different things, whatever I see and like too much I'll recreate it on my own terms. Right now my compulsion is Tin People Clocks and the Glassware totems. Just finished the decoupage lamp yesterday. It's all leopardy and blingy and everything.
I love ETSY and marvel at the talent God has blessed all of you with. I'm good okay? But I see some artists here that you guys blow my mind. I love ETSY!
