List your item as usual on YOUR OWN account. Tag it "Artist Aid" or "Japan" "Tsunami Relief..." whichever you are comfortable with. Come back here & share your link. The collective group will promote via Twitter, Blogs, Facebook, etc. Build treasuries, etc.

**We do NOT sell your items for you. This is your responsibility. We're only a means of getting the word out. A larger voice instead of shouting alone. This gives you control over your money & the charity YOU support.**

Please remember to follow Etsy's rules on Charity. That can be found here:

http://www.etsy.com/policy/dosdonts#charity

Thanks so much for your efforts.

Bumping

and also thought I would add this link:

You can also donate money directly via Paypal:
https://www.paypal-donations.com/pp-charity/web.us/campaign.jsp?cid=-12

trying to understand if and how we need to get permission to name a charity on our page.

Re: How it works:

Thanks for starting this team. Just listed three items, 100% of proceeds going to American Red Cross fund designated for Japan. I will be relisting them when they sell.

All sales from these items will go to the Red Cross Relief Effort in Japan.

What a great group - was feeling so helpless watching the news. Thank you for this group!

Re: How it works:

Just switched from Red Cross to GlobalGiving because I can donate through PayPal directly, with out going through PP debit card. And that's the only reason.

So glad I found this team. Thanks to the team leaders.

Re: How it works:

Hola!

During March 10% off our sales are going to help Japan. We also give 20% of our featured items ( so far we already sell one).
How can we do to receive the CONSENT of an ORG like the Estsy rules are asking for? In our case the RED CROSS...?

We want to help. We also run a business. No time to make research to figurate HOW to do the things. Is there a CLEAR PROCEDURE to simply follow?

:)
Olivier & Artemisa

(by the way it's a wrong Etsy Concept that only etsylink are working to navigate out of a convo or item page, this is not friendly...)
