How do I know so much about Marketing Art? I began consulting with artists informally 12 years ago as a favor to friends. Pretty soon every artists I knew wanted me to be there agent! A little research into that field led me to conclude that I wouldn’t be doing artists any favors by doing all of the work for them. Instead, I decided to teach them how. You also benefit from my experience working as Business Development Manager. What, you may ask, does that have to do with art?! Well, I learned from hands on experience. I know how to form and nurture relationships to get results. I know how to position myself in front of the traffic online and the buyer offline. I have Managed a team of Marketers and relied on my own knowledge of the new marketing world today to be able to take someones art career to new levels and faster then ever before. And with all that said I have been a full time artist myself since I can remember, going to school for both art and marketing, I have worked in the fields of Acrylic Painting, Photography, Printing, Graphics and Motion Design as well as Film Editing and Art Direction Cinema. Art Surrounds my life, my walls and literally where I live, I have strategically placed myself living in the city where Street art, and Guerilla Marketing takes place just outside my window on a daily basis. Art is my life and I have been lucky enough to succeed at it, now its time to help others do the same. When I’m not in my office or art studio, you might catch me hiking in the mountains, fishing off the pacific ocean; playing soccer with my nephews; traveling across America; watching the Food Network or BBQ'ing and Catching a Football game and the local bar and grill. Oh ya and did I forget to mention, running around town taking pictures, going to the aquarium and attending as many art openings and art walks as I can make time for.
