Updated 11/22 - Introducing the new way to maximize your advertising: Etsy Ads

We’re super excited to introduce our powerful new advertising platform: Etsy Ads. With Etsy Ads, one campaign makes it easy for shoppers to discover your products on both Etsy and Google and make a purchase from your shop. Instead of managing two separate campaigns through Promoted Listings and Google Shopping, you can set a single daily budget and see your advertising performance in one place.

Why’d we make this change? You’ve told us that you want simpler advertising tools. Etsy Ads helps you grow without all the guesswork. We’ll optimize your campaign by using our data insights and expertise, so you get the most visits for your budget.

You’ll be seeing Etsy Ads in your Shop Manager over the next few days. If you’re currently using Promoted Listings or Google Shopping, you’ll get an email from us with more details. Those campaigns will be automatically moved over to Etsy Ads in the next few weeks.

Want to learn more? Check out etsy.com/advertising

And if you have feedback to share, we encourage you to fill out our seller survey form. We are collecting feedback and suggestions from the community here, and the team is actively reviewing it over the next couple of weeks.

Re: Introducing the new way to maximize your advertising: Etsy Ads

We’re continuing to make Etsy Ads a more useful tool to help you grow your business. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be updating this thread when we release new updates and features to enhance your Etsy Ads experience. Stay tuned!

For our first update:

To help you better understand how your ads are performing, we’ve added an option for a “Custom” date picker. Now you can see your overall and individual advertised listings stats at any date range in addition to the preset “Last 30 Days” and “Last 12 Months” options on your Etsy Ads dashboard.

Here are some ideas around how you can utilize the “Custom” date picker:

  • You can now select individual dates to see your Advertising stats for.
  • If you made a change to your budget on a specific date, you can select the custom time range before and after that date to see how that change has impacted your ads.
  • If you want to see how your seasonal items were performing during a specific holiday period, you can select the custom time range.

Additionally, we’ve also added the ability to sort your individual advertised listings stats across each of the key metrics. For example, see which of your advertised listings have the most clicks and are driving visitors to your shop!

Check out etsy.com/advertising to see the new features.

Re: Updated 9/17 - Introducing the new way to maximize your advertising: Etsy Ads

New Updates:

We’re excited to update you on a couple of new additions, based on valuable insights!

  • Rolling out next week: You'll be able to filter between Active and Inactive listings in the listing selector. See all the listings you are not currently advertising to quickly select which ones you want to start advertising.
  • Listing selection in your App: Managing Etsy Ads on the go? You can now review and change your advertising listings through the Sell on Etsy App.

Re: Updated 9/18 - Introducing the new way to maximize your advertising: Etsy Ads

Hi folks,

Yesterday we launched new time period options for you to choose from when looking at your Etsy Ads stats, so you can review your campaign using the metrics of your choice. That said, remember it’s best to look at information for at least 30 days to get the most holistic sense of how your campaign is performing.

Additionally, we’ve added the ability to search for listing titles to make it easier to start or stop advertising specific listings.

More updates to come. Stay tuned!

Re: Updated 9/25 - Introducing the new way to maximize your advertising: Etsy Ads

Update: In our update on September 18, we told you we’d launch a new feature adding the ability to filter your advertised listings. We are still working to make this feature as helpful as possible for you but unfortunately, we weren’t able to launch it when originally planned. We’ll update you when it’s ready!

We do have a new update that’s already available in your Etsy Ads dashboard: Now you can see helpful data and stats about all the listings you’ve advertised, including listings you’re not currently promoting. These more in-depth stats can help you make smarter decisions about which listings to advertise.

Re: Updated 10/9 - Introducing the new way to maximize your advertising: Etsy Ads

Happy Friday, folks! We have a few Etsy Ads updates to share with you all:

  • Bulk Editor for listing selection: managing your Etsy Ads listings just got easier!
    • You can now quickly select and deselect the listings you want to advertise. Just go to your Etsy Ads page and select the “Change advertised listings” button. This should come in handy for the holidays! For example, try searching for a relevant holiday term and quickly select all of your listings that apply.
  • View credits on your dashboard
    • If you have an Etsy Plus subscription, you can now see how many advertising credits you have available on your Etsy Ads dashboard.
