Improving International Currency Display

Hi all,

We’re always looking for ways to improve the Etsy experience for buyers and sellers around the world.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be improving the way currency is displayed on Etsy to make it consistent with familiar international formats. Whether you notice these changes will depend on your currency, language and country preferences.

For example, the currency symbol is generally shown after the price in several languages, including German. With these changes, a member browsing in German will now see the familiar German format of 100 € rather than the English format of €100. If they’re browsing in English, they will continue seeing €100.

We’ll provide another update when we’ve fully released these changes on all platforms. In the meantime, please check to see that your location settings are correct.
