Hello everyone,
I am a new member of this community and oppened my shop that sells paintings a couple of days ago. Please have a look at my shop, any feedback will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Your art is interesting like with all original pieces I always recommend selling prints, it helps attract customers because they're cheaper versions of the art they would like to own in the future and helps attract an audience to your shop. If you would like to know what prints you should make look at what pieces have the most views.

That's a great idea, hadn't thought about it. Thanks. I'll wait for a couple of weeks then create prints of the most viewed items.
How or where can prints be made of paintings? Does the process damage watercolor paintings? Whats the cost to make prints?
Very nice! Do you paint these yourself?
Thank you so much. I come from a family of painters, the shop consists of both my family and my artwork.
@BearLakeStudiothere's multiple ways to make prints of a traditional piece without damaging it, like taking a clear picture or scanning it with a scanner(I think UPS and Fedex can do big scans, I'd ask around) you just need a digital file of the art. To print I would suggest either taking it with a printing service (vistaprint, office depot, UPS,etc.) Or simply print it at home if you have the proper paper to do so.
As for pricing I will talking in USD so price may very by region, also i'm going to be pulling a lot of estimates so do your own math when you're deciding on printing. Prices vary depending on size and paper quality of the print(paper quality like Matte or glossy) but usually it doesn't cost more than $50 for a couple few large poster sizes. You can set a lot of these print prices starting at $2 for postcard prints(you can usually get about 20 postcards for $0.80 each) up to $25 for 22"x28"(Usually around $15 per print). Also keep in mind the shipping supplies will also play in a factor.
You are so helpful, and full of ideas. I had not even thought of the post card prints. I'll be adding this to my shop as well. Thank you so much.
No problem! There are as many niche markets as there are niche buyers so it helps to spread the knowledge around!
