Edmonton Craft Night? Meet Up?

I love love love meeting fellow etsians in person and as I saw that Calgary was having a meet up I was wondering if anyone here in Edmonton would be interested as well??
WE could do just a meet n greet or a craft night? Thoughts friends?

So, I was thinking West Ed? They have a few restaurants there... and there are going to be people coming from all over... though from this thread is seems like a lot are north-west? With a few of us in the south east? Just guessing! lol

So what about March 2nd? The weekend before is February 23,but it's also "reading" week or whatever you call it. Theres a chance some people will be gone for that...

Is anyone opposed to Moxies? I love their brownie! lol
Should er opt for a place that has like a party room? thenfor a Saturday, we could book?

I'm away for the 2nd week of March. I like Moxies, but its usually kinda loud in there. Mind you with the bunch of us, we'll prob be able to drown out the best of ' em! lol
There's some neat pubs on Bourbon Street in West Ed and on an afternoon, they may be quietish. But maybe west ed isn't too convenient for our northern gals. Like the idea of a party room or separate type room. Just can't suggest anything being an out of towner.
I'm used to lots of driving so any location is fine with me.

Looks like it sits around 12 people?

There's also Earls downtown which has large round tables which might make talking a bit easier :)

Do they have their own parking lots, Christina? Parking downtown is usually a big pita. I LOVE Earls!

west ed sounds good to me !
downtown is so terrible to drive with Jasper Ave all messed up (..but I just hate downtown all the time )

Both restaurants have their own parking lot but you have a good point Melissa!! Jasper Ave is horrible to drive on right now.

There is also Red Robins by Grant Macewan or in the west end, lots of parking. It may be easier for out of towners to find rather than a place inside WEM.

Well I've been to West Ed alot ( son loves galaxy land) The resturants are all in one place.

For downtown I would need address for sure so I can GPS my way as I can get to Ikea in south commons, the air port and the West Ed with GPS now. Anywhere else I'm lost.

Oohh so apparently the Joeys in the west end has a private, curtained off area that can sit 16 ppl. That might work?
