Hi everyone, we are confirmed for a get together in Calgary as follows:
Saturday, Feb 2nd from 6:30 to 9:30pm
Location: Triwood Community Centre, JT's (look for a forest green awning over a small door between the maIn hall and the arena - that's us!)

Guidelines and Details:
Cost: $5 per person, payable to Darcy at the door (right now, I'm funding this out of my own pocket - the fee covers hall rental so if you don't pay, I'm out the cash).
Crafts - there will be no organized craft but if you want to bring something to do while we are chatting and eating, feel free. We will have to clean up the room so please don't bring anything messy.
Food and non-alcoholic beverages - food & bevvies are welcome but not required since we usually have lots of food. The menu will be 'bring what you want to bring' in the form of appetizers, snacks or desserts. Again, nothing too messy. We don't have dishes at the hall so I'll bring napkins - anything else please bring yourself. Think finger food that can be consumed while standing, chatting and laughing.
Destash table - this is a spot for anything in your house (people and pets excluded) that you want to leave for someone else to take home. This is a no obligation table. If you don't bring anything but want to take something home, that's ok. There will be no formal monitoring of the table so it is up to us to make it work. This started as a craft supply trade idea but now you could bring anything in good, gently used or brand new condition. To give you an idea, I'm going to bring some craft supplies, new bath and bodyworks lotions and perhaps even boys clothes in about size 6. I will take home the diamond rings anyone else brings :)
***** I would appreciate a volunteer to take any items remaining at the end of the night to Goodwill or a charity. The goal is to get everything to a good home, whether that is with us or someone else.
Who can come : Anyone - AB team member or not, crafty or not, hungry or not... you get the idea.
