I survived another dismal crap called a show. There apparently was advertising and posters put up because I did see three. But I think there were 3X not handmade. They were looking for all Xmas decoration and whatever. I applied showing only my Xmas items and was accepted solely for that. There were a couple of others with all Xmas items only. There was a nice blend of Xmas but the majority of tables were home businesses, I don't care if I never smell scentsy or steeped tea. I appreciate the fact that they have a living to make as well and have to buy stock and supplies. But damn they are not hand crafted. Well yes if it's all made by sweat shops in China it could be 'hand crafted'. I have had to add to all of my applications to not be placed anywhere near the scented shops. Two yrs ago I was between two different but similar scent type shops and ended up needing my puffer because my asthma kicked in. It was totally ridiculous. I didn't even know what either shop was even selling the same things although different names. What did upset me was I had not had an attack in four years. But today the only sellers that made any money were direct sellers. Hubby said tonight it's time to stop beating a dead horse. What a horrible picture to put in my head since I had seen a horse hit by a truck and it was not pretty. But he didn't know me when I was 15. lol So I really need to sit back and analyze my life. Etsy sales were just as bad or non existent this year for me and many others have told me it was the same for them. So I have some serious thinking to do. As do five other etsy sellers I met today all agreeing with me.
