I'm crazy about Jewelry! I was pretty much born into it. My family has been involved in crafting jewelry ever since I was little. My father, his elder brother, my cousin, a few more relatives...the list is long. Growing up around all this creativity and jewelers' vision, I seeked deeper to understand the sole purpose of jewelry. With an ambition to seek purpose and connect people to this purpose, I left India and went off to college to the US. I took Entrepreneurship at Boston University to rebuild and refine my ways to connect to people. Four years later, I graduated with a reformed global vision of personal expression, and with that my attachment to jewelry only grew stronger. With such a strong attachment to jewelry, I couldn't help but crave more learning. And so, only two months after, I left again. I went to a small town in California, called Carlsbad. Home to the world's most renowned and respected institute in the field of jewelry and gemstones; GIA - Gemological Institute of America. And let me mention…California is a VIBE!! 7 months later, I was a graduate gemologist, with the knowledge of over 200 types of gemstones. I was at a whole new level, where I could see endless possibilities and applications in the line of crafting jewelry. I WAS READY!! In a world where beauty has multiple meanings, I wanted people to empower their most important one, the expression of embracing inner beauty. It is not to make you look beautiful, but to express that you have embraced your inner beauty. I believe Self Love is the purpose of life, and Jewelry is what allows us to express that self love. Back in the days, when my family used to live in Japan (my parents still do), my sister’s friends could never pronounce her name right. So, they called her “Diri”. The inspiration and magic behind my shop :) All jewelry is hand crafted to precise measurements using our expert designers who use computer aided designing software to manage each angle and corner of a piece of jewelry. And with the help of about 20 other people in our manufacturing house remaining tasks like casting, filing, pre-polishing, laser soldering, setting, polishing, and rhodium plating is done on each piece of jewelry. Also, each step is quality controlled and each piece of jewelry is as shiny as the next, so you don’t have to worry about a thing!
